Well, it's not that bad- there's a Walmart and a supermarket and things like that right in town. And it's actually kind of pretty here. :) But there's nothing like being a train ride away from Manhattan... and I don't care what people say, Rochester is NOT a city!!! :P

I'm sorry you've had a bad week Nick. :( Don't worry about your grades though! Grades are important when you're applying to colleges, but other things like your extracurriculars, the difficulty of the classes you're taking, and interviews are just as important. Just work hard and do your best, as lame as that might sound. :) Everything will work out, I promise. And, to cure a bad mood, I recommend watching The Office. It works for me every time! ;)

I don't know anyone having a party this year, unfortunately. :( I do like going out to parties and stuff, but only if I'll know a good amount of the people there. Oh well. I might go over to a friend's house later and help her carve a pumpkin and stuff, but we'll see. I go to SUNY Geneseo-- it's in upstate in NY, near Rochester. I'm from Long Island though (like Christa! Woot!) and I feel like I'm in the middle of nowhere out here sometimes.

Sorry guys, i just went to go scope out the food options down at the dining hall. There were none, in case you were wondering. :( But now I'm pretty hungry..... hmmm.

I told one of the kids I was working with yesterday that I didn't have a costume for Halloween. This one girl (about 8 years old I think) looked at me in total shock and was just like "Um, Halloween is TOMORROW." :laugh3:

BigFatNoises- I was actually going to make a similar wallpaper with the screencaps I took. They weren't clear enough to set as wallpapers on their own, so I thought I'd collage them. I really like yours! :D

This is exciting... I did a few screenshots but they're not totally clear.

Oops-- I went to go decorate the bathroom with pictures of Zac Efron and the boys from Gossip Girl :wink3: to kill time until midnight and missed this revelation that iTunes was bestowing us with this wonderful gift half an hour early!!! But oh my, it is so beautiful. Dare I say even more beautiful than my lovely new bathroom wallpaper? :laugh3:

If iTunes doesn't have it ready for me at 12:01 am, I am going to be a very unhappy girl....

Considering the drinking age here is 21... most people (myself included) have drank underage at least a couple of times (or for some people, all the time :P). And other than that, I drove some of my friends' cars before I had a driver's license.... But I can't think of anything else illegal that I've done. I know, I'm boring. :P

My 20th birthday is this Sunday!!! It's really weird that I won't be a teenager anymore... hahaha. I have to admit, although I have a pretty good idea of what will be happening for the rest of my life, that's the thing that scares me the most. Like, I definitely still feel like a kid, and the fact that I know what I want to do with the rest of my life (and it's not even that far away!) is really, really weird. Hopefully my 20s will be okay though... I'll graduate, hopefully I will be able to find a job as a teacher, and live on my own! Well that's the plan at least... I'm just freaked out about the fact that I have a plan! :P
