Coldplay Lille March 27th [2003]
hi everybody! :D I was yesterday in Lille at the Coldplay gig and it was absolutely fabulous! I have been fond of the band since 2000 and it was my first gig and I haven't been disappointed! :D A fantastic show, when Chris was playing the piano, the crowd was charmed and I really appreciated when Chris made the effort to speak French and he was very good you know.... Although Chris asked the audience for apologies because of his voice that was a little bit not as fit as usually but very well I have found..., I found Chris very enthusiastic and happy to be on stage... :-D When Chris asked the audience for standing to sing with him 'Yellow', it was a pure moment of happiness and from this moment to the end of the gig, the public was fantastic! coldplay....my favourite rock band! :) Setlist Politik God put a smile upon your face Spies Daylight Trouble The one I love (new song) A rush of blood to the head Don't panic Everything's not lost ....(new song) Yellow The scientist Clocks In my place

I am a guy, so I'm not in love in Chris Martin, Gwyneth Paltrow may be jealous if during the gig too many girls are staring with love at Chris! lol :D

Shiver...
when I heard this song for the firts time, I was thinking of Jeff Buckley because of the voice of Chris and the power of the guitars, I miss Jeff! I know that the band is very influenced by Jeff Buckley, they're absolutely right because Jeff was a fantastic artist, wasn't it? :)

A rush of blood to the head, very impressive!
This second record of Coldplay is very impressive because parachutes has already been a great success but to my mind, this second one is harder and better than parachutes in spite of its quality. I remind of the first time I have heard the album, I was very happy and satisfied because this record is fantastic, politik is very emotional, in my place, a future classic song; clocks a very inspired song.... with this second record, Coldplay has become a greater rock band, the press has really enjoyed a rush of blood to the head, particularly in France because the band is very popular over there and has been very famous since parachutes. I have been fond of Coldplay since the beginning of the band and I have never been disappointed because Coldplay is also an engaged band with their opinions and they're right to protest against unfair trade and inequalities in the world! I am looking forward to going to their gig in Lille tomorrow, it will be my first Coldplay gig and I'm sure I won't regret it! :-D

Parachutes, a fantastic record!
Hi everybody! :D I am new member, coming from Lille in the North of France! you know surely that tomorrow there is a coldplay gig in lille, the beginning of the European tour! :D I discovered Coldplay in Summer 2000 with the single 'Yellow', the melody was fantastic and agressive, so I decided fastly to buy the first record of Coldplay, a classic one today, 'Parachutes'. Although I think 'A rush of blood to the head' is better than 'Parachutes' because the band has made some progress in interpretation, 'Parachutes' is a fantastic first record because Coldplay had already its own sound, of course the extraordinary voice of Chris Martin and the talent of the musicians. British pop rock was very disappointing for several years and in 2000, Coldplay has been the first rock band in the UK since Oasis to convince both the rock critics and the audience, it was a hard challenge...but very quickly a great success all over the world because 5 million people have bought parachutes! :D
