Im not sure how imigration lwas work here in Brazil, but i think we r a pretty open country. There arent many imigrants here where i live, but u can find A LOT in beaches, or places with a lot of tourism... i think portuguese can stay here for a long time with no prob, i know that if they want to open a business they need a brazilian partner though. I think the imigrants u get the most here is portuguese and argentinians... not a lot of racism, maybe a bit towards argentinian... I think there isnt a lot of imigration here coz everyone seems to be wanting to get OUT of Brazil... not in :P

But about the whole kissing friends thing... I actually dont have anything against it... ive kissed friends before, of course its a bit awkward just after it happened, but later things always seem to work out and go to what it was before... (sometimes it doesnt, but most of the times it worked out for me).
