it sure is scary. ppl can't go out anymore without the fear that some one may suddenly walk up to them and beat them to death or shoot them. I think something should be done very soon but i have no idea what that should be.

Thursday (11-05-2006) at 11.49 a young man (18) went to a weapon dealer and bought a Marlin type 336W. I don't know much about weapons but the news said this is a gun perfect to hunt deers or kill a bear. The man walked out of the store, loaded his gun and started his deadly walk. First he saw a turkish woman (46) sitting on a bench reading a book, he shot her in the back from 6 meters distance. She's in the hospital deadly wounded. He moved on through Antwerp and saw a girl (24) from Mali looking after a belgian girl (2.5). He passes them, turns around and shoots them both in their back from 1 meter distance, they both died at the spot. He moved on but a cop came running towards him, he yelled: Come on and kill me! The cop stayed calm and shot him in the belly at 11.53 Later the police found a goodbye note in his room at his school, it was a goodbye to his parents, he thanked them for everything they'd done for him. He also wrote that his brother's would be happier without him. The last few words were: I'm going to kill myself but first i'll take 10 foreigners with me, this way i did something good anyway. He already declared that he was a skinhead or a wannabe. He was a big fan of Hitler and other ppl like him. my questions are, how come this man who is only 18 years old can walk into a store, buy himself a gun of € 500 without any screening? He didn't need anything else than the money and the age. I'm also thinking about the victims he chose ... earlier this month some african ppl have been beaten into a coma by racists. What's going on with this society ? Young men can buy guns without screening or something like a license and walk around in the second biggest town of Belgium and kill 3 ppl without being stopped himself other guys can beat up ppl without any reaction of the ppl around them.

i had almost the same problem here .. i was sitting with my friends by the river in Ghent ... bright sunshine, a few clouds at the horizon ... half hour later, im on my way home with my bike and there's a big storm right above me .. i can barely go forward because of the wind... in 2 minutes im all wet ... everything is wet. Then when i arrive home, the sun is shining again as if its laughing at me grrrr
