1. Yeah it's weird that the website wasn't working, but anyways, maybe I'll see you there!!!
2. For some reason I couldn't get in on the website, but tried through my phone and this is what I got, they're not bad but I was looking for floor seats, but I guess I'll try on the general sale. Anyways, I got tickets!!!!!!
3. I didn't know we had to sign up again for the email list and I didn't get a code!!!! So if anyone has an extra code that could share it would be GREATLY appreciated, please please pretty please!!!!
4. Hey guys!! I was going to the movies last night and got to the mall earlier to go to the music store and guess what I found: http://www.saharis.com/store/osc/product_info.php?products_id=16510 Of course I bought it and saw it as soon as I got home. It's the unreleased version that includes Ring Of Fire, Trouble and all the other songs that didn't make the cut on the televised version. I don't know how Coldplay-approved is this because on the back cover, where the setlist is, there are typos on the song titles (e.g. Clocks is shown as Cloks). But anyways, Mexican fans (specially Monterrey fans) go to any Saharis or Mixup near you and buy your copy!!! And for the rest of the world, I think those two stores have online ordering so maybe you can get it online.
5. section 12, row 15, seat 7 It's far but I hope it's near the crew places the small stage for Us Against The World hahahaha You going??
6. I GOT MY TICKET!!!!! I'm going by myself but what the heck!!! I hope the people sitting next to me are cool hahahaha. Wanted to go to the New Years show, but couldn't get tickets, but since they postponed the Latin American tour might aswell see the regular show right??
7. Oh OK, I'm so sorry!! So feel free to erase the thread. My apologies
8. BTW I don't know if this is the right sub-forum to post this. My apologies if not.
9. Hey guys! 2012 is a Presidential Election one for Mexico and one of the candidates (Enrique Peña Nieto) is using the song "Postcards from Far Away" as background music for one of his TV spots. I find it very strange that a Coldplay song is used for political publicity, because I always thought that Coldplay was very precacious about using their songs for publicity purpouses (specially political). Is there a way to send the link of the video to the management or something to find out if they really gave permission to use the song, if not to let them know some politician is using one of their songs without permission?? BTW, here's the link to the video: [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jlQlWUnZexU]Enrique Peña Nieto - Spot biográfico - YouTube[/ame]
10. My version of Mylo Xyloto: the Story Here's my version of the Story. Since I started writing it in spanish, I've only translated the characters, so here's a little description of my characters, I'll try and translate the story and post it as soon as I can: -MYLO: male, 25 y/o. Part of the revolutionary movement against Major Minus. -XYLOTO: female, 23 y/o. Mylo’s girlfriend, Prospekt’s younger sister. She’s also part of the movement against Major Minus, although she doesn’t completely agrees with a lot of the revolutionary activities. This feeling comes from the fact that she lost her father to a battle against the Progressive Party and she’s afraid of losing Mylo and her brother. -PROSPEKT: male, 28 y/o. Mylo’s best friend and Xyloto’s older brother. One of the leaders of one of the cells of the revolutionary movement. He’s the one who initiated Mylo in the movement. Sometimes he gets carried away by the ideas of the movement. He adopts the name of Prospekt in honor of his death father, one of the founders of the “Viva La Vida” movement against the totalitarian government. -MAJOR MINUS: Leader of the Progressive Party. He’s taken the country to a state of oppression similar to the one lived in Germany with Adolf Hitler. -PROSPEKT: Propspekt and Xyloto’s father. One of the founders of the “Viva La Vida” revolutionary movement. He was killed on battle by Major Minus. He is so important to the whole movement that even songs were written in his honor (Prospekt’s March).
11. I saw the video one, and when I tried to see it again, that message came up to me too...
12. I just got my Viva la Vida jacket for tonights concert!!!! Check it out http://twitpic.com/17ymi3 can't wait for tonight!!!!!
13. wow!! this thread is dead!!! nobody posted that Coldplay arrived in Monterrey this afternoon...
14. Hey guys!!! Can't wait for tomorrow!!!! If you see a guy with a Viva la Vida jacket (as the one Chris is wearing on the video) THAT'S ME!!!!!! I specially made it for the concert, so come and say hi!!! Just one question: You know in Mexico City, right before the encore started, all the people in the audience started singing "Cielito Lindo"... are we doing the same or something like that?? I think it would be cool, since it's the last show of the whole tour, and it would be nice if the the guys in the band left with a cool memory of their last show and the audience in Monterrey. So what do you suggest??
