It was good. Having heard/seen the band live more times than I can count, I (and the rest of us here, for that matter) am pretty used to Chris being slightly off-key. His voice did crack during the first chorus, but I'll attribute that to nerves. Many people have already said that live strings would've been better, and I'll echo that sentiment. I'm just not sure it was possible to do it for this show. They probably had a lot of restrictions for set up & break down times, since they were using the main stage. If they had their own stage, I think we would've seen a more elaborate performance. All in all, it was a good way to introduce the mainstream public to Viva La Vida. I still think Violet Hill would've been a more appropriate performance considering that the video's currently making the rounds, but a decent choice nonetheless since so many people have seen the VLV iTunes commercial.
