Voi, kuulostaa niin mahtavalta. oon aina halunnut englannissa tai britten saarilla/ irlannissa asustella ainakin jonkin aikaa.. Dublinissa käväsin viime kesänä Radioheadia katsastamassa ja sen lyhyen visiitin aikana rakastuin kaupunkiin. Pitää päästä pian uudestaan tutkimaan maaseutuakin. :) Missä kaupungissa siis asut? Onko se joku pienempi paikka?

off-topic I know.. but yeah 6000 people had to move away from their homes because they build the olympic village and also they are destroying all the beautiful old houses in the city centre to build the "modern Beijing", new office buildings and modern apartment blocks. the poor people who have been living there have to move away from the city centre and they even might end up homeless. The authorities were given the permission to evict people from their homes before they even decided about the amount of money the people will get for the houses they might have been living all their lives. I actually read some interviews with the peple who had been evicted and they said they had nothing left.. some of them said they didn't fight back because they didn't want to stand in the way of the olympics preparations. They were scared of the consequences. They will always remember what happened in 1989. One man did refuse to leave so some men came to his house and dragged him and his 80-year-old mother outside and beat them up. The money the people get from the old houses isn't enough ( they don't get the money they should get for their houses) to buy a new house or rent a modern apartment block so the people have to move far away from the city centre. "The contracting company and the government are the same thing." said one guy. of course China isn't the only place where these things happen but still it's terrible..

mua pelottaa etten saa provinssia töistä vapaaks. muuten ei pelota. Ja ihanalta kuulostaa se Englannin sää. Edelleenkin kateellinen :P. mulla on onneks sellanen miespuolinen kaveri jonka kanssa sönkötetään kännissä tahallisesti brittiaksentilla. On kyllä huvittavaa miettiä jälkeenpäin miten urpo on taas ollut. :P
