[19-Dec-2013] Coldplay @ Eventim Apollo, London, UK
Right I was the first one there arriving at 5.40am. Two buses it took to get there and it wasn't long after until a few more people arrived. I can't remember everyones name but I wish to thank Tash, Ellen, Jeremy, Jason, Jimmy and Oz for making the queue experience pleasent. It was nice having other people to talk to. From who I met Coldplay have some wonderful fans and I hope I meet you all again at another Coldplay gig in the future. Whilst the people were I met were amazing there were a couple of selfish people. The scanners slowed my entrance into the venue which was highly annoying as I was the first there and had been queueing since 5.40am. I noticed there was some space but these French girls had elbows out and legs stretched out when there was enough space for at least one more person. I had said I have been here since 5.40 this morning hoping they would let me on the barrier but the reply I got was you are taller than us. Now that wasn't entirely true because we were the same height. It was slightly annoying due to the fact I wasn't near my friend as he managed to get barrier but I was 2nd row behind these girls. So talking during intervals was tough as my friend would of needed to turn round. Now I don't know peoples usernames but Jimmy had exactly the same problem. He was on the barrier but I think one of these girls was elbowing him. So I kept on trying to get onto the barrier as these girls probably had more space than anyone on the barrier. They eventually relented before David Brent. This was really annoying because I didn't enjoy Rizzle Kicks because of this. For Dynamo I was slightly on the barrier but my position was mega uncomfortable. As for the performances Dynamo blew my mind. How the hell did he do those Matrix moves at the end??. David Brent whom I saw at The Bloomsbury Theatre on his first ever show was extremely funny (If you had seen videos on YouTube of him live, those videos were most likely mine), Lily Allen was phenomenal and the performance of Hard Out Here was sizzling. Also the Robbie appearance was a surprise. As for Coldplay what can I say. WOW is the word I am looking for. With so many songs there were obviously a few which went going to be played. It was nice to be there for the Live Debut of Atlas and Viva La Vida was a right crowd pleaser. It was actually a surprise for me that Yellow wasn't sung. Still it as one incredible set and the snow during White Christmas was amazing. Also it was nice to end the year with Christmas Lights.

I got my ticket this morning :D This will be my very first Coldplay concert and I will be getting there early. I am going to be queuing at West Stand. Any tips on how early to arrive if I wanna be barrier?- [6-Dec-2011] Radio 2 Gig: Coldplay @ Dingwalls, London, UK (15-Dec-11 Broadcast Date) tickets availa

I know it will be really surreal seeing them play there. I still can't believe I one because I wouldn't call myself lucky at winning competitions. And this one would have thousands of people apply just for a pair of tickets. Putting everything into perspective I can see how lucky I am :D I have been a fan of CP since the very start but this would be the first time I have seen the full band and what a live experience I will have. I'm really excited, with it being broadcast on Radio and being shown on Red button I assume it will be one special set (different to whats being played on the Mylo Xyloto tour) :D- [6-Dec-2011] Radio 2 Gig: Coldplay @ Dingwalls, London, UK (15-Dec-11 Broadcast Date) tickets availa
I'm an extremely lucky duck who is still in shock. I am so thankful I have a ticket (my friend whom I am taking thought I was pulling his leg) but people who sell tickets for profit irritate me so much. Wonder if someone got that ticket off of ebay??- [6-Dec-2011] Radio 2 Gig: Coldplay @ Dingwalls, London, UK (15-Dec-11 Broadcast Date) tickets availa
I am all excited for Tuesday. I want to be right up front but it will be difficult to judge when to queue given that it is a small venue. This will be my first (proper) Coldplay gig. Chris and Jonny blew me away at Little Noise and I guess this will be immense. I will report back straight away when I get home that evening- The Singles 1999-2006, Good buy?
Ordered a copy of this yesterday $19.99 which is cheap converting it into £s. But then postage took it up to £41. Still I reckon it is a bargain.- [6-Dec-2011] Radio 2 Gig: Coldplay @ Dingwalls, London, UK (15-Dec-11 Broadcast Date) tickets availa
I was lucky enough to win tickets via the CP comp last night (that was my tweet above). Like I said I was in shock and still am. I was at the LNS gig with my friend and we were talking about entering and how we won't win. The email came through at 11.03PM at night and I thought it was going to be a you have not won tickets but to my surprise I did. I was literally shaking with excitement. Even my friend couldn't believe I won. So all in all I was very lucky and I expect it to be real intimate if BBC had 100 pairs and CP had 15 pairs. That is 230 people then you have industry people and I guess the cameras would take up some space. As for that person selling a ticket on ebay that is disgraceful I mean they are free tickets. The way he can get round it is that the person who buys it off him will be the +1 and the seller also goes in and shows his photo ID. And the description with tickets being over issued I don't think that is the case surely the BBC don't over issue and the CP comp you had to confirm your attendance and if you didn't by Monday the tickets would go to someone else. Plus I really hope they allow non flash photography because you will never ever see them play in an intimate venue like that again. I have been a fan of CP since Parachutes came out and the LNS was the first time I had seen them play so seeing the full band at Dingwalls would be quite something. Wonder what the set would be like??- A Rush of B-Sides to the Head
you can find it lurking about on the internet. I got it a couple of weeks ago - [19-Dec-2013] Coldplay @ Eventim Apollo, London, UK
