[29-Dec-2012] Coldplay @ Mohegan Sun Arena, Uncasville, CT, USA
Mohegan Sun Arena I live 5 minutes from Mohegan Sun, so here's a tip for you. I have been very successful in the past with getting tickets at the venue prior to the show. Someone is always selling them, and not at exboritant prices either. Now, again I'm lucky as I'm right down the street. I saw the Coldplay show a few years back and bought tickets right before the show for $35 each! Then was upgraded (knew someone who worked there), also got to run my fingers through Chris' hair (he did a lap around the floor seats) and I got the set list. Good Luck!

I just found out I'm going to ATL on a business trip. Can you imagine how excited I was when I realized that Coldplay was in town at the same time. Anyway, I arrive on Saturday, May 16th. Just checking to see who has tickets for sale....Let me know. I'd need two tickets, my cousin is in town as well. I checked ticketmaster and saw there were still excellent seats available. I'm looking to buy from fans who need to unload their tickets oppossed to giving ticketmaster my money. PM me and let me know what you have.

This is post No. 1 for the person above. I think they may be screwing around or are just totally clueless. I received an email from LiveNation today stating they have mailed my tickets ( bought them in the presale).

Gotcha! Thank you. I bought four tickets yesterday, Section 700. My concert mates will not want GA, so I'm sending them into the ticket pool....someone go grab them quick!

if you say they are withholding the "good" seats until tomorrow, why was I able to buy Section 300 seats?

if you haven't been to the Meadows, its small. ALL the seats are great IMO, well except for the ones off to the extreme sides. Better than sitting on the lawn, if it rains it sucks. However, if you want to wait until tomorrow for a chance at the lower levels, I'd be curious to see what comes up....

okay well I got my tickets. Section 700. I was buying 4 of them. I wish I had done 2 and 2 maybe that way would have been a little closer? eh, I'm not sweating it, at least I'm in. :-)

Coldplay fans: how diverse are we?
I'm 41 from Connecticut, USA. My binge drinking days are far behind me. :P

02-Aug-08: Hartford - Tickets, Preview, Meetups, Review/Photos [originally 03-Jul]
I got Section 4, floor. The amount of tickets still available may have to do with the fact that Hartford is much bigger than the Mohegan Sun, where they played last time. Just a theory.

Who got the best presale seats so far?
I didn't realize there was a pre-sale until just now! I bought for Hartford and got Section 4 Row K. That's a floor section. I hope they are OK? I was in such a rush that I didn't bother to check to see if there was anthing availabe on the side close to the stage. oh well.

COLDPLAY.COM UPDATED - CONTESTS REVEALED
People, be patient (though i wasn't really)......i received my confirmation email about 2 hours after I registered for the free MSG show. Now I'm waiting for my boyfriends confirmation email to his stupid yahoo account. It will be very cool to see people from this forum win tickets to either show. Now we just have to be patient again ( I don't fancy being patient). If I don't get MSG I want be too disappointed as they are coming to Hartford (an hour away from me). Good luck to all!

Did anyone every give Coldplay something during a concert?
Mohegan Sun Show Well, I didn't actually give them anything but during In My Place when Chris runs around the floor, I was in the second row behind the soundboard. He stopped right in front of me to sing and I reached out and ran my fingers through his hair (of course it was a sweaty mess, but that was ok). At the end of the show I asked the soundboard guy for the set list copy. He handed it over. Best concert to this day. :wink3:

I have the actual set list from the soundboard, however, I don't have it here with me. I can post it later.

April 4th-Mohegan Sun
So I had tickets in Section 14 but had to sell them do to work obligations. However, my work trip got cancelled. I live very close to the Mohegan Sun so I decided to try my luck by just going up there to see if I could get tickets. I was standing outside the arena and this guy said hey do you need tickets. He had tickets in Section 115 and was selling them for 1/2 price. I negotiated the price and got them for $30 each. I go into the arena and ask the usher with help finding my seats. I recognized him as someone I used to work with. He recognized me, as well. He said follow me, he brought us to another usher. I thought he was just seating us, but no. The other usher put stickers on our tickets, the stickers said Section 20. The seats ended up being two rows up from the floor right behind the soundboard. Awesome! I couldn't believe it. The concert was fantastic. You know the part in the show where Chris runs around the arena floor? Well he stopped right in front me and I ran my fingers through his hair! Incredible. He kissed the girl in front of me (lucky girl). If that wasn't great enough. At the end of show I asked the soundboard guy for the setlist. So I have that along with the memory of Chris's wet hair. Woo Hoo! Oh, just as an aside. I went up to the ticket window at about quarter to 7 just wanting to check the seating chart. I asked if tickets were still available, sure enough there were great lower level seats in pairs available.
