There are ticketmaster presales!!
I can confirm that the tickets in the Philly pre-sale this morning were $97.50 for floor and lower level, and upper level was $77.50 - this, of course, was without the extra convenience charge ($11.50 per ticket, I think), plus $3.50 venue charge, plus the (utterly absurd) $3.50 charge for mailing you the tickets! :veryangry2: I think/hope that there will be cheaper tickets in the regular on-sale. Probably in the upper rows/corners of the upper level...

Philly Show 4/6
Good stuff, polkahard! I especially like the shot you posted from Yellow. Thanks for the compliment on my other photos, too - very glad you enjoyed the U2 5/14. Anyway, I was up towards the top of section 109 (hence my initial reluctance to bring the camera). And to answer some earlier questions - I use a Panasonic DMC-FZ15... I'm very happy with it! And yeah, it's all about finding the right settings. The photos I have from the first half of the show are pretty lousy, just because I spent a while figuring out what settings would work best from my vantage point. I will get some larger shots posted here if that's okay, especially the ones that jbarry5503 requested. Thanks, everyone, for the nice comments and messages.

Philly Show 4/6
Hello all, This is my first post here, after dropping in on Wednesday for the first time. It was actually reading the forums here that inspired me to bring my camera along on Thursday night. I've photographed all the recent concerts I've gone to, but I had actually planned to take this particular show off (especially considering that our seats were in the end of the arena opposite the stage). Bottom line, though: I'm glad I brought the camera, and I hope you enjoy the results. It was a fantastic show! A great set, and Chris's illness didn't put a damper on anything at all. The crowd was also pretty darn good. It was very cool to see an arena full of signs. I was actually a bit (pleasantly) surprised that everyone managed to follow the directions (to wait until the first encore to hold them up!). Naturally, one of the most memorable moments was the very end of the show, when Chris tore up one of the signs... ...and had the band stand to show the audience some love in return! Anyway, hope you all enjoy the photos, and thanks again for the inspiration... The full set from Thursday night can be found here (along with my other concert photos): http://www.flickr.com/photos/thephillyfly/sets/ -Rob
