music while growing up
well, I remember my mom listening to Tori Amos, Meat loaf, U2, and a lot of soft rock while I was growing up. My dad listened to Frank Sinatra, Elvis, The Beach Boys, and The Beatles. He liked to sing along a lot to his music in the car. :P I remember my sister was obsessed with The Smashing Pumpkins... and she liked Hole at one time. I would mostly listen to whatever my family would listen to. It was either that or the radio....*was broke* I can't remember what my brother would listen to. He would never let me listen to his CD's anyway. :P I listened to a lot of dance music when I was real young... Now, me and my sister have the most in common with what kind of music we like to listen to...we talk to each other about new bands & singers.
