Not all rap is bad though. The rap songs that are just about cars, money, and girls are the reason why kids are morons these days, not Jay-Z. And even Kanye has his good moments.

Yeah, I lurk, I'm not really active in the conversations anymore. I just graduated high school and I'm off to college [FRIDAY! :stunned:] so I don't have much time to post as much as I used to. :\ But back to the topic: Just because every Coldplay fan isn't hard core like us, doesn't mean we should look down on them. For a good 90% of us, Coldplay is our favorite band, not every Coldplay fan has to give them their full, undivided attention, and that's ok.

How is what you listed constructive criticism? If it was constructive you could have also listed some of the things you would like to see on their next tour or album, etc so they can take it in and improve. That's just bashing. And no one give me that "Oh, they should just do another AROBTTH!" I'm tired of that. :dozey: Coldplay are constantly evolving and changing. And I don't give a flying fuck if Chris Martin hangs out with Jay-Z and Beyonce, that doesn't mean he doesn't still chill with the singer from Ash or worship Radiohead. The Radiohead worship was getting old anyway; it's great that they aspire to make good music like them and have a hardcore fanbase, but we really don't need another Radiohead. Sorry for the rant.

iTunes classifies them as Alternative sooo.... But I like to describe them as "Britpop" It seems to fit.
