  1. Hey I just checked on www. hkticketing.com. There are 2 Block B tickets (middle section) available. but hurry!!!
  2. Amazing - can't even get onto the www.sistic.com.sg/ website let alone being able to even apply for Coldplay tix!!! My computer just hanged for a while then stopped. I have been trying now for 15 mins, still no luck. Can't be many tickets left even now!!! Good luck all those who actually do get through.:\
  3. i am going with 6 other people (all my family) so should be fun. we are in block A as well. not sure where yet.
  4. definitely - am going to rush to the stage as well!:laugh3:
  5. hey azlina as predicted the hk show is all reserved seating :( and the singapore show has GA standing section. i am so tempted to come to sing now, but just the cost is holding me back. in any case, i think i will probably just stay here - the tix we got are v close to the stage so that compensates! and seeing coldplay at least once in my life is better than never!!! see ya
  6. Good. I'm in Block A as well, in the middle section, but my brother in law got my tix, so don't know what row. But yeah, tix have been selling so fast. Must be v close to selling out now. At least the real fans must have all got their tix by now. Enjoy the show!!
  7. do u know what section you got? The tickets are almost sold-out. I think about 80% have gone already. Everyone else, hurry up!!
  8. HONG KONG TICKETS ON SALE Yes, you heard it correctly

The VIP package sounds interesting as well.
  10. I don't think it is X&Y which I think is their most developed album to date and is a real progression on their sound, but it is the fact that they OVERPLAYED the US in 2005/2006. I mean, they played all over the place, in small towns etc, probably just to please the record company and this led to the inevitable backlash. I mean, you have a choice to play places like Buenos Aires, but you play El Paso Texas??? I think it would have been much better for them to play the US once (not 2 or 3 times like they did) and play more diverse places like South Africa and more of Asia. Even more of South America - there are fans around the world apart from the US (surprise surprise). Always leave people/fans wanting more. For US/Canadian fans this tour, they saw way too much of Coldplay. I think that was the problem.
  11. I just have one question - how do us non-Japanese speaking people get tickets online for the Japan dates? I have not been able to find even one website that is in English. Thanks.
  12. There is no chance of the band playing China this time. They might be adding Bangkok, but that is a long shot. I think only Singapore and Hong Kong, as well as Japan will be the only Asia dates for this tour. Try and come to HK, it will be a concert not to be missed!!!;)
  13. The japan dates are absolutely positively their last ones on this tour (so say coldplay.com). Chris has mentioned time and time again that they are going to take a "long" break after this, so I imagine they won't be touring again for another 2/3 years. but if you haven't seen them yet, there are still singapore and hong kong shows, tickets for which have not gone on sale yet. the rest of the tour (australia and japan) are predictably sold out already.
  14. i agree, fantastic photos. cherish them all.
  15. tix aren't on sale yet, but I suspect they will be sold via ticketek. The website is www.ticketek.com.hk so keep checking over the next couple of weeks. good luck getting front (or indeed, any!) tickets. all of us are in the same boat!
  16. Yes, v important to get tickets on the first day - I would definitely line up if I had to. This is not a concert that I am going to miss. No doubt you would do the same. Just one question re: Sing - is there a general admission area in indoor stadium? In HK there are v few concerts with GA standing, mostly reserved seating. The coldplay concert is going to be reserved seating since i guess they can charge alot more per ticket (highest price is going to be $980), but I might even fly down to Sing if I can get a different experience in the GA section.
  17. Yes, people, the date has been confirmed for July 13th!!!! Venue is likely the AsiaWorld Expo, near the airport. Cannot wait!!! Tickets are apparently going to be on sale in a couple of weeks. So keep posted for details. But yes, you heard it correctly, COLDPLAY ARE FINALLY COMING TO HK!:D
  18. Hong Kong Great news that they are also coming Hong Kong for the first time! Yes, they played Sing in 2001, then Bangkok in 2003 and missed out on us altogether... So now we have the privilege of finally hosting them. Cannot wait. Already have my ticket even though tickets have not been announced yet... connections :D
