  1. Ok. Go through the entire In Rainbows album and every song has lines repeated. Jigsaw is a good example (don't get me wrong, I love the song). The Gloaming. No Surprises. Exit Music. These are just off the top of my head.
  2. Are there any Radiohead songs where the lyrics aren't repeated. It seems like Thom can't think up anything else, so he just fills the gaps by going "copy/paste". It annoys me a bit.
  3. Next year I'm getting a Jazzmaster. However, I'm customizing my pick guard. Swapping my bridge for a Mustang one. And it'll probably be black (they don't make the blue one anymore), which doesn't bother me too much because I can always get a paint job on it later. However, someone told me to buy it in America because you'll save a lot of money that way. So I think I'll do that. I'm also gonna be "collecting" effects. But I have to wait til next year when I can actually save up properly! Can anyone confirm that buying in America is cheaper?
  4. Sweet. Muse is good. Yer, I picked up bass for the first time about 8 years ago. In that time I had about 3 years of lessons. And I can honestly say that you'll learn so much more and get your own style by listening to music and teaching some stuff yourself. However, in saying that. After doing those grades in piano, you may find lessons really good as you might understand things more on a theory base.
  5. Weird Fishes/Arpeggi Why does it have two titles? Did they ever explain this? Also. Does anyone have any articles whatsoever on Radiohead members talking about their instruments and why they use them or similiar?
  6. Tis all cool. Didn't you used to play piano? Or what other instrument do you play?
  7. I'll find it. I have so many albums, and yet no official place to put them. So they float around the house. Which is really annoying cos I don't trust my siblings with them - they always get scratched!! My Parachutes, AROBTTH and X&Y are almost unplayable!! I guard VLV with all my life.
  8. As a beginner, I'd definitely suggest a Yamaha bass. They're always a sound way to go and usually you can pick up one for something not too expensive. I hope the lessons go good! But remember to noodle around by yourself as much as you can/want as well. Because Nothing beats teaching yourself. Good luck with the lessons!
  9. I can't find their latest album!!! Gah! I bought it a fortnight ago. Then took it to my gf's place. Then left it there. Then thought I lost it. Found it again. Took it home. Can't find it again!!! Where is it!! I want to buy the Heima DVD. Is it good??
  10. I hope the other stuff is a bit more...i dunno. composed? These songs sound a bit all over the place - a bit cluttered I guess. Ill definately get the album, but at this rate I think I prefer UTIS more so than what I've heard.
  11. Does anyone have the audio from the radio session that Coldplay did at the House of Blues that is shown on the Live2003 Tour Diary?? This probably belongs in the Multimedia section sorry! But yer, if anyone has that, can I have it?!? please!
  12. Hey all, when X&Y was around and that style of website was up and running. There was a Yellow singles t shirt in the shop. Does anyone know where I can find this shirt now???
  13. Sorry to be a pest and bring this up again..but I really am curious! lol
  14. Hmm, my question is: Does anyone have any interviews - either video, audio or magazine or whatever, on Radiohead talking about their instruments?? Anyone?
  15. I know you should never judge a book by its cover. Let alone an album. And I won't. But...The Bends album look shit. Someone tell me that the music is better...

  20. Does anyone have an article or something similar where Thom talks about why he uses a Jazzmaster??
  21. O, i heard this song about a year ago. I thought it was an awesome song, and then it turned out not to be on their album...big mistake in my opinion. Did someone say that Radiohead are recording another album atm??
  22. O you beat me to it Fixed! Yer, new tracklisting announced. Interesting stuff. Can't wait til it's released.
  23. Yer, I'm listening to it now. It's interesting! I think it'll take me awhile to get used to. I really like In Rainbows. People tell me. If I like In Rainbows and (so far) bits of OK Computer. Should I get Amnesiac or Pablo Honey?? I can't decide. So I thort I'd ask for advice. Also, how come Radiohead don't come to Australia for tours!!?? What is this?
  24. I have both Takk and ..hum in our ears.. so far i feel the newer one (with a hum in our ears..) is much more poppier/accessible. But its all really good dark room and candle music.
  25. Whoa. Nevermind, i found the thread for them lol. Looking forward to streaming OK Computer though!!
