I don't consider "The World Turned Upside Down" to be the song with that title. I can't even hear much similarity in the way the "old" and "new" versions are played. I prefer to think of this song as "Everything Under the Sun." With that in mind, it's becoming a catchy song, one that I'm starting to like more as I listen to it (only listened twice so far). I really wanted a studio version of Poor Me (to include in my "extend" version of X&Y, but oh well. Unfortunatley, I think the band has played the song better than at the hollywood bowl. IIRC, some of the versions from February and March were better, when Chris actually sang the verse (at least the opening one). They're not terrible, but they're not great.

The studio version isn't available yet. From what I understand, it's slated to be one of the B-sides to Fix You.

I tried recording but the stream isn't giving me good volume - sorry. Sounds great so far: (in the spirit of the u2//interference setlist parties)... Setlist: 01 Square One 02 Politik when the band was in the studio with the DJ (don't remember his name) they said they were going to (basically dust off) some rarer stuff from Parachutes - I doubt anything terribly rare like We Never Change, but maybe some stuff they haven't played in a while - Spies, maybe?
