I am so sorry I’m late! I like to listen to it a few times to get the feel of it… Here is my review… 1. Starts with a beat, then a soothing male voice comes in singing about a ball of string 2. I really didn’t like this. Really annoying female voice. “You’ve got a black eye on your eye / Tell me was it from a fight?” Irritating. 3. This has a good beat, male falsetto, imagine this would be good to dance to! 4. Really like this, music is hypnotic and the singer has a dreamy voice, kind of like the guy from Arcade Fire 5. Ethereal, dreamy music. Lyrics are indecipherable 6. I love this. Not sure, but it sounds like Noah And The Whale? Beautiful, and made me feel all warm inside. Just lovely <3 7. Really like this person’s voice, although I can’t understand a word he’s saying :P 8. Calm male singer, like the lyrics, very story-telling, poetic. 9. Really nice soulful male voice, again I can’t understand a word but I feel like I know who it is? 10. Soothing male singing “I hope someday I’m deaf and dumb and blind” Hmmm..I hope not! 11. Strange voice, sounds like a mix between James Blunt and David Tennant! :P 12. This is an acoustic duet between a mystery male and Florence? Short and sweet . Really like this. 13. Weird voice again, kind of reminds me of Caleb Followill from Kings Of Leon. Slightly grating. 14. Slinky! Jamiroquai-ish. Sounds like female backing vocals towards the end 15. Nice way to end the mixtape, fits in perfectly with the chill theme J Overall this was pretty good J It flowed perfectly from one track to the next. Not really the kind of music I would listen to ordinarily, as it got a bit boring in places but nonetheless it was fun to listen to something different :D One question – the artwork. Was is it actually on the artwork? It maybe just my Coldplay brain but to me it looks like Jonny Buckland! :D Mixtape maker……reveal yourself! :P

I've never heard the Rascals before, but I love LSP <3333. And joining in with the "who is sexier?" argument - Alex has a sexier voice which makes him sexier but I'm not sure if any of them are sexy! Humbug-era Alex maybe hehe :P His voice is just stunning.

I think Miles is brilliant :D Was huge fan of "Shadowpups" (well that's my nickname for them :P)

i didnt think too much about my mixtape but my partner has loads of bands in common with me. i had to steal some of my sisters music!

i don't know if my mixtape partner needs to stalk me, but just in case my main favourite bands are: Keane Snow Patrol Muse Razorlight Biffy Clyro Radiohead Foo Fighters The Killers Arctic Monkeys etc.......................... :)

I've only had 2 listens so far but I prefer the second half - there is something hypnotic about Lotus Flower and Codex is growing on me a lot <3 I don't have Kid A/Amnesiac/HTTT but I guess these albums need more listening to then The Bends etc? Anyways I hope they do release some more songs it just sounds too short ! :(

Please, guys! This isn't a battle about whether Radiohead or Coldplay is better! Everyone has right to their own opinion :) I know this is a Coldplay forum but we're on the Radiohead thread! This is supposed to be full of our excitement for saturday!

aaagh i've been so addicted to Radiohead since I bought In Rainbows last summer (i know, i'm slow to catch on :-/ !) And then I was given OK Computer for my 18th, and then The Bends for Christmas! And I can't stop playing all of these! I wish I had bought them before! So how many other albums are there and which should I get next?? xx

Ok here is my review (finally!!) I’m so sorry I took ages with it, I hope it’s OK, never done this before J My mixtape review 1. This has an atmospheric intro, followed by choral female vocals, which I can’t tell what language they are in ; they sound half-French but I can make out “cherry blossom girl”. Not really my kind of thing. 2. Oooh! A piano intro, that is a definite way to win me over J! The singer’s voice seems familiar, and I like the way he breathes! Really like this. 3. I wasn’t sure about this before, but it’s definitely grown on me. The singer has a very distinctive voice and he can reach some high notes! Like this. 4. The first female-vocal song. She has a good voice but I don’t really like this song, it seems to go on too long for my liking, and sounds like 3 songs rolled into 1! 5. Definitely my favourite so far, I really love everything about this song! J I love the singer’s voice, the cool bass. The only bad thing about this is the painful sound-effects at the start and end of this song, “The test is overrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!” Love this. 6. A pleasant song, quiet and acoustic with harmonising male voices. 7. This seems similar to Track 1 but I prefer this; not a fan of the sax though. 8. Woo! Last Shadow Puppets-Meeting Place! I absolutely love this song J! The weird thing is I actually put this on my mixtape hehe J 9. Woah this is a long song! A little too long for my liking, and it doesn’t seem to go anywhere. I was bored by the end. 10. Cool drumming. A slow burner I think as I quite like it now J 11. Love this J Sounds like Morrisey, this is more my thing J 12. Very catchy song.. Gets a bit annoying by the end though 13. I think I have heard this song on the radio before – don’t know who it is though! Really love this and I love the way it builds up! J 14. I know this is Pearl Jam – Black because it’s my sister’s favourite song! I do love it it’s very intense! 15. Wicked drumming! This singer sounds like the same one on Track 5! Like this J To my mixtape maker, whoever you are, I really enjoyed this mixtape J There were quite a few songs that I really liked and some I loved as well! And only 3 artists I knew as well J And I’m dying to find out who Track 5 etc are! Thankyou for introducing me to them, whoever they are! xxx Highlights: 2, 13, 5, 11, 15 Lowlights: 1,4,7, 9
