  1. Soooo I haven't posted in here in over a year. But I figure that in spirit of the new song...I'd come back to see how things are. And I'm not going to front, I cried after hearing Christmas Lights a couple of times. Not only because it's a sweet and lovely song, but because it made me think a lot about my current situations in life right now, and made me think of a certain person. Anyways, yeah. Hi guys. Also, kid who posted above me: Juanes is my hero.
  2. Not necessarily. More difficult classes can throw a lot of shit at you and you probably need to refresh your memory often, especially for finals and such, since material can be from the very beginning of the class. Also, if you are taking multiple hard classes, you'll have to remember material from those classes as well. It never hurts to study at all. I should do it more, it's a good habit to have when going into college, when you probably WILL have to study more. Back to the discussion... As far as SATs go, I don't think you should "study" a lot on your first try. Use your first time to just test the waters out a bit and get a feel of how it is. When you get your scores back a couple of weeks after testing, understand your strengths and weaknesses and work on the parts that you didn't do as well in. My strength was the writing section. Math, not so much. You could buy those Princeton Review books, but seriously does everyone go through all 11 practice tests? :P I bought one, only because I had a 40% off coupon from Borders and the book ended up being only $12. Though I didn't go over it for the second time I took the test (sheer laziness, shame on me), but I plan on going over just the math sections before I take it again for the third time in October. If you don't want to buy a book (I don't blame you), your school might have some SAT prep classes or programs to use on the computer (my school luckily has both, but I did neither lol). But all in all, the SATs aren't rocket science at all. Math doesn't go beyond geometry, so that section will probably be just review of things you already know, but perhaps need a little bit of refreshing on. If your class as an AP Language and Composition class, you can learn a lot of things that help with the writing and reading section, as well as writing style and grammar. I fuckin' hated that class with a fiery passion of a thousand suns, but at the end of the day I learned a lot. Regardless, be sure to get an adequate amount of sleep and a decent breakfast. Oh, and GET YOUR SHIT TOGETHER THE NIGHT BEFORE. I'm a lazy ass and didn't get my calculator, admissions ticket, directions, etc. together until the morning of, and halfway to the SAT testing site I realized I forgot my ID and had to go back home. :P So unless you like waking up at 6 or 7 in the morning, be prepared!!! And remember, the SATs is a dumb, outdated test and only tests one's ability to "test take," not intelligence. ;) It's only a fraction of the college process, and it's not the end of the world if you don't get your desired dream score. No one gives a shit after high school. Not that people should in high school anyways, but I have to deal with school elitists here and it's annoying as hell. ...sorry for writing War and Peace right here. :P
  3. I remember that. I loved that thread haha.
  4. Too sweet for my tastes. :(
  5. Kenan and Kel!!!! I LOVED that show, and All That. Good times back then. "Welcome to Good Burger, home of the good burger, can I take your order?" :P
  6. I love that movie! :nice: Where's he been, I haven't seen him since Alias lol.
  7. Go back and kick his ass. :P Douche.
  8. Haha that'd be weird if I did see him at the mall or something and never knew. :P
  9. It's awful. I'm glad I work at a place with a great variety of people who are for the most part nice. ETA: And yes, the quality is shit. Friends would buy their $40 tshirts and get holes in them after a couple of washes. Fabric is so frickin' thin and poor.
  10. He looks like someone I know...can't put my finger on it..
  11. I am a Napoleon girl. :wacky:

 Seriously? Homeboy raps about college? :P Oh, youth.
  13. I hear a lot of stories like that...picking out the "pretty" customers and asking if they want to work. That sucks balls. I'm curious to hear your stories...
  14. Yeah true, I guess. Oh! Forget to mention Samuel L. Jackson. :D I LOVE HIM SO MUCH OMG NOT EVEN FUNNY.

What exactly does he rap about? He's from around my area, not much to really spit at here! :P
  16. That's basically the same for all of suburban America. I don't give a fuck, I stick to my H&M and Forever 21. :P
  17. Hey now- Darth Vader's hot. :P
  18. Not just politicans in general, just...those in general, for certain reasons. :P Though I think Woodrow Wilson was pretty cute back in the day hahaha. "Like a very hairy Jake Gyllenhaal to me..." [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sNq_9vwfSis]YouTube - Iran So Far Away - Andy Samberg & Adam Levine[/ame]
  19. Exactly! And it reeks of cologne in there.. holy poo my dad had to buy a gift there, and just the A&F bag alone made the house smell like it. :dead:

  21. I know right? Weird would be like...Mahmoud Ahmadinejad. :P Or Kim Jong Il.

I'm the same way, I feel uninspired by summer clothes. I don't know, probably because there's not as much pieces to play around with, like boots and sweaters, scarves, etc. I like those.
  23. :laugh3: He's fine as hell. I watch Anderson Cooper 360 and feel bad when I think about how insanely handsome he is, because he's usually talking about serious business. :P
  24. Have your seen their daughter? She's a BEAUTIFUL baby. Good genes, definitely.
