It was quite funny - after the song he said "did someone shout Judas?" - I think referring to the Dylan-going-electric thing. Tim

I saw Keane last night on the first date of the UK tour in Hull. Tom looks and sounds fit and well adn the band were awesome! A few surprises in the set too - the live debut of Broken Toy, plus The Sun Ain't Gonna Shine Anymore, and most unbelievably a version of Your Eyes Open featuring Tom on acoustic guitar!! Glad to see they're back in action with a vengeance. Tim

Thanks Denise, I have the A-side (vocal mix) which I think was a download originally. I'm after the instrumental version that came out on the b-side of the 10" single eventually. But thanks for looking anyway!! :D Tim

OK, I'm a greedy, selfish nasty person  . But does anyone possibly have the AOL session and/or the Rolling Stone wotsit sessions? Tim

Hi Danielle, I think you're probably absolutely right - it certainly seems more likely!! I think the band made their situation quite clear on the Strangers documentary - hope it was taken on board by the powers that be. Much as I like it, I can't help but feel that UTIS would have been a better album had they had more time off to prepare it. Tim

If Coldplay did a B-side compilation album...
Guess I'm in the minority then, as I've always really liked See You Soon - even if it is the best song Nick Drake never got round to writing :D Tim

All Those Hard to Get B-Sides
Well, neither of those are b-sides as such. Try http://www.coldplaying.com/forum/showthread.php?t=26694 http://www.coldplaying.com/forum/showthread.php?t=25025 http://www.coldplaying.com/forum/showthread.php?t=17493 Alternatively try using the search button at the top of the page. And prepare to forego your social life for a while!! Tim

I can't believe Tom is on drugs!! :o It just doesn't seem very Keane somehow. Don't blame him though after all the pressure they've had over the last couple of years. Hopefully their manager/record company will get the hint and not treat them like some kind of workhorse this time around. Tim

Thanks Denise, that would be great if you could find them :D . I think we all should start a keaneplaying.com type of thing - if I had the remotest clue about how to do it, that is! If there's anything recordwise anyone is looking for, let me know and I'll see if I've got it somewhere. Tim

Thanks Danielle, have just joined. It all seems a bit too - I can't put my finger on it, really. Perhaps I'm just too old!! But I get the impression they'd all faint if the word "upload" was mentioned!! :laugh3: Tim

You're all welcome. As it seems to be going down better than my Coldplay uploads at the moment, here's a few more for you: Two more K&F B-sides: Snowed Under http://rapidshare.de/files/30255943/Keane_-_Snowed_Under.mp3 Walnut Tree http://rapidshare.de/files/30256789/Keane_-_Under_The_Walnut_Tree.mp3 To The End Of The Earth (Demo) http://rapidshare.de/files/30257287/To_The_End_Of_The_Earth.mp3 (This was a H & F B-side, but this is the demo version as I can't find the single version at the moment  Allemande (an early b-side) http://rapidshare.de/files/30254933/Allemande.mp3 Closer Now (2nd version) http://rapidshare.de/files/30254552/03_-_Closer_Now.mp3 (This was a really early B-side, although this isn't that! It sounds like a later re-recording as it's much more H&F-like, despite the acoustic guitar! Anyone with more info about this, let me know. It occurred to me that if you're not in the UK, you may only have the 11-track albums, in which case here's the two missing tracks: On A Day Like Today (H & F track 10) http://rapidshare.de/files/30255388/Keane__On_A_Day_Like_Today.mp3 The Iron Sea (UTIS track 8) http://rapidshare.de/files/30256489/Keane_-_The_iron_sea.mp3 Finally, just for something different, here's Keane's version of U2's With Or Without You! http://rapidshare.de/files/30257057/Keane_-_With_Or_Without_You__U2_Cover_-_Live_Lounge_-_Radio_1_.mp3 Meanwhile, can I put in a request for two vinyl-only tracks to any Keane completists? Your Eyes Open (Mo Mental Mix) We Might As Well Be Strangers (DJ Shadow Instrumental Mix) Oh, and the radio session from the German H & F double CD! :laugh3: Meanwhile, enjoy. Tim

Thanks for the info. I presume the Coldplay track is the one on the Acoustic EP? So now I'll have to buy the thing just for the Keane track. Unless of course ... :D Tim

COLDPLAY SONGS YOU SKIP??
OK, I admit it. I really really can't stand Yellow!! I never actually liked it much in the first place, and since then I've heard it so much (it's on every damn bootleg going!), I never feel the need to play it again. And another point deducted for the line "they was all yellow" which is grammatically neither big nor clever ... In My Place is heading down the same route. Right, should I get my coat now? Tim

If you can find it, get hold of one of Keane's B-sides called "Fly To Me". It is the most beautiful song ever written. Tim

Coldplay DVD/Live CD release in October?
I remember something about this on coldplay.com a while ago. For some reason they won't let you copy and paste anything, so I've had to summarise, but in the news section under 3/3/06, there's an article marked "Coldplay announce Toronto DVD", which goes on to say "The band has just announced plans to film their two sold-out shows in Toronto in March. The shows will be shot in HD for a future Coldplay DVD. "Several of our all-time favourite gigs have happened in Canada, so what better place to film our shows" said Chris. Making this news even more exciting is the that band will allow five Canadian fans the chance of a lifetime - to film the show themselves"." Hope that helps Tim
