That's what producing is. The album won't have any R&B or rap in it. If somehow it does. It's the end of Coldplay, unless it was some kind of B-Side joke song. Otherwise, I'm pretty much done. There might be some new electronic parts to their music I'm hearing from some places which both Timbaland and Eno are familiar with. For anyone still thinking this'll be R&B Timbaland already said that the main reason he would want to work with Coldplay would be to branch out. Eno will still be in charge. Timbaland will probably be a minor roll. But with U2, Eno co-produced with another guy, I can't remember his name right now though. It was Daniel Lanois. So he's done it before. Also, I'm hearing the album will be will be My Bloody Valentine influenced. Coldplay gone Shoegaze would be very very good. I think Chris should leave the piano a bit. They should explore some electronica. Listen to different kinds of music. They need to leave their comfort zone. Only then will they be great again. Oh, also, to the people saying they don't want Coldplay to be pop, they already are. You either have a misdirected view of pop, or something, but Coldplay is very pop. Not saying it's a bad thing, but they are.

Is no one else excioted about the Valentine?

Yeah. That's just a bit silly. X&Y came out in 2005. This would come out in 2007 or 08. That's a long enough wait. They've seen their families. Everybody else works all the time, I hope they get back to it. I'm actually pretty intriqued by this album. I'm hearing it'll be My Bloddy Valentine influenced. Coldplay+Shoegazer=Very interesting

I've never actually met him, so I wouldn't know. I could see him being insecure. Or at least one of those insecure guys that actually think their stuff is good(or alright), but want other's approval and what-not, so they dont' know what to do. Whether they should think badly of themselves, or puff themselves up.

Hmmm. Has anyone seen him in Extras? I know he was acting, but sometimes, it feels like he's really like that. Even though it wouldn't ever be on that level. And in the end, I don't think he's like that, but sometimes, sometimes.

Well? What do you think? I know he jokes alot. I'm not saying I think he is. What do you think? I will say that sometimes it feels like he runs along this odd line between, "We're the best band in the world", and "We're ok, I mean sometimes, but we're trying, really we are". So, I think he might have some issues on either end but: Do you think Chris Martin is cocky?

That's not right. Wow. I hope they don't go all Oasis. That wouldn't be good at all I don't think. Maybe OK. Maybe. Probably not. Almost certainly not.

Yeah, I'm with you there. They might should try some trippy stuff.

Darker. Alot darker. Dirtier. More noise. More textured and more subtle. Haunting. Grim at times. Hopeful. Moment of really glorious brightness. Electronic in bits. Acoustic in bits. Fitter. Happier. More productive.

Pretty exciting news. Eno was one of the big factors in finding U2's and Talking Heads key sound. I think he can do that with Coldplay. One thing that they need to change is X&Y was too overproduced, too glossy, too pretty all the way around. Eno help with that. He'll get them to their potential. I hope they experiment with some electronic sounds and such. I also hope they darken it up a bit. That way the bright spots are that much brighter.

I will say I did like their sound off the first two better.........

No...not really. They emulated The Pixies during their first 2 albums. And Coldplay did the same on X&Y......
