  1. I'm looking to buy 1 GA ticket for the Toronto show in July. [email protected] Thanks.
  2. As the saying goes, no good deed goes unpunished. I'm not holding my breath for a CD (I'm going to the Toronto show.) with over 50,000 leaving at the same time.
  3. just wondering, how did the CD distribution go after the show? Rollingstone.com posting a review of the tour kickoff and commented on the debacle of the CD giveaway. Sure hope RS.com is overstating it. if they can't get it right in an amphitheatre they'll have no hope with 60,000 at the SkyDome!
  4. Hi - I'm looking to buy 1 GA ticket for the show. I just learned that a friend will be visiting that week so I'm trying to include him in the event. Thanks. [email protected]
  5. That's a bit of a walk, to be honest. It can be broken up nicely by stopping for pints on the walk back, though!
  6. Wow, please simmer down. I also think Twisted_logic12 is out of line posting links to his eBay auction on a fan-board. I couldn't believe it when this user first started soliciting a sales in this arena. I partake in a number of fan boards for other artists and this type of behaviour would result in the immediate BANNNIG of the user. To be fair, it is also made abundantly clear that only ticket trades and face value sales are permitted. Is there a moderator for this message board? He or she should make the call (ie. either it's acceptable or it's not in which case the messages should be deleted and a clear statement of purpose for these boards be put in place. Apologies if there is a clear statement already available.) And please, can we stop wishing death on a person because he/she is scalping Coldplay tickets?
  7. Just saw that Coldplay's playing Darien Lake on June 1. That is a nice place to see a show (for anyone in the Buffalo area it's a WAY better choice than the SkyDome). Argh!
  8. WOW, that was a fast sell-out. I wouldn't have thought it a week ago, but maybe they can pull off multiple shows at the SkyDome.
  9. Could some kind soul please post the link to the Globe and Mail's presale? Thanks.
  10. Thanks again, Osaka. BTW, GA are showing as sold out in the Jack presale.
  11. That is also my experience. BUT In this case it is clearly labelled throughout the ticket buying process that there is RESERVED FLOOR SEATING (referred to by A1, A2... on the published seating chart) and STANDING GENERAL ADMISSION FLOOR. http://media.ticketmaster.com/en-ca/tmimages/venue/maps/tor/26935s.gif
  12. GA is general admission - it doesn't matter if it says GA1 or GA6. A1 is (supposed) to be reserved seating on the floor. Did somebody tell you that A1 was general admission?
  13. I think people are compaining - rightly - that the top price 100 levels seats were not available when the presale started.
  14. nope... Actaully it wouldn't be so cool because that's not how the seating plan is laid out for ticket buyers. I for one would not have bought GA tickets if the entire floor was GA. My guess - based on the seating chart - is that there is a GA section immediately in front of the stage. There will likely be a crowd barrier at the rear of that section. On the other side of that barrier will be the seated floor sections (A1, A2, A3...) This is *similar* to the method U2 employed on their last two tours. Also, similar to how Springsteen has done it with his last couple of tours.
  15. People are complaining because those seats were not available when the presale started.
  16. ???? A1 is a SEATED floor section so I find your message a little confusing. A1 is not GA1.
  17. According to the seating chart there is only one GA so don't be thrown off by GA1, GA2...
  18. I choose pickup at a Canadian Retail Location and didn't have a problem.
  19. Re: GA1, GA2...I can't say with 100% certainty, but based on my experience at other GA concerts I understand these codes to be used for TM ticketing purposes and not for any sort of assigned location. GA is GA (and according to the seating chart there is only one section of GA for this concert.
  20. GAs are still showing up. I bet those $79 100 level seats would be quite good. Yeah, it's a little far back but you'll have a great stage view and there'll be video screens. ...can't remember who asked, but no I don't have an extra. Sorry.
  21. Well, I got GAs even though I specifically asked for 100 Level seated. Did anybody get 100 level seated? Anybody want to buy a pair of Argos tickets?
  22. Well, top ticket price is $100 BEFORE service charges - that's pretty expensive, I think. I'll be waiting to see what tickets I manage to pull before I actually buy them. And, yes, the SkyDome really is that bad. This is not a slight against Coldplay, but Toronto really is getting the shitty end of the stick on this leg of the tour. It looks like every other N. American stop is in an ampitheatre or arena. ...and i just checked TM and the concert listing has been removed again...
  23. Info was on the TM site for a short while this morning (Tues) but now it's not showing any Toronto show.
