i'm jane from liverpool, uk (as in the beatles - i usually lie and tell people i'm related to one of them but i thought i'd be nice.) however, and i say this with much shame - the pregnant one out of atomic kitten did go to my school, which is almost the same really, don't ya think?

it's not the first time my parents' fantastic musical knowledge has been displayed. last christmas, my mum told me she went everywhere looking for "the white boys" cd (instead of the white stripes). i'm just glad she didn't find one - although it might have been quite interesting.

i haven't actually bought it but i've added it to my big list of albums to buy once i get money, which is about a mile long now. it's always so big though, that when i do get money i never know which ones to buy. i need some sort of rotation system or something - i dunno, or maybe just a job.

wasn't ash's greatest hits out yesterday? do you reckon it'll knock AROBTTH of the top of the charts? it would be nice if it was ash wouldn't it?

it's a great song that's even better live but where do you reckon it would fit on the album? it's quite nice it being a b side anyway - sort of a bit of a secret (but not much of one i suppose considering in my place got to number 2 - but it seemed to slip sooooo fast, it's a shame really)

there must be a shortage of them round here or something. but in a strange fit of kindness my dad decided to go and try and find me one at the weekend and came back saying, all disappointed "i've looked everywhere for your LME - but noone seemed to have one" - i wonder why?

where coldplay in the NME last week? cos if they were i can't find it anywhere, despite looking everywhere today (in new "specially designed to hurt your feet so bad you'll never be able to walk again" shoes. i've never got the hang of choosing shoes that fit me - i still need my mum to come along and feel where my toes are.) did i miss much?

it is amazing - i think it sounds fantastic on the stuff he did with faultline. let's just hope he doesn't lose it again while they're touring - especially not before they come to manchester.

it is hard to compare them when they're so different - but at the moment probably parachutes cos it reminds me of stuff, but then sooner of later AROBTTH will too - and then i won't have a clue which i prefer. hmmm...decisions, decisions.....

well, only me really, but hi everyone! i hope i've worked out how to do this properly - it'll be the first time in my life i'll have done something remotely computer literate - i'll be so proud of myself! :D - oh my god - i think i've just used my first little face thing (what are they called?) - yey!!!!
