i ended up crying my eyes out at the balloon festival. i'd been desperate to have one of those massive cookies all day (it was there first time i'd seen them and they were selling them everywhere) and right before we went home my mum said i could have one. so i got one (double choc chip, if i remember rightly) and got told to wait till we got in the car to eat it. but i was too greedy and tried to eat it on the way - got one mouthful and then dropped it on the floor in the car park. it broke my heart, i tell you.

hee hee hee. i went to lanzarote a few years ago and on the way to our apartment in the taxi we were driving (at about 200 miles an hour - the way spanish cab drivers do) through all the barren rocky bits and the cab driver gave us a whole speech on that - and how it was filmed in lanzarote, hee hee hee. he was a bit scary actually - it all got a bit heated and he actually tried to turn round and wave his hands at us while he was driving to illustrate his point further - how we all survived i will never know. needless to say we booked a different cab firm on the way back. :D

(this may all come in quite handy actually cos i'm being made to do IT key skills, and i can't do anything - there you go, i'm not sad for spending so much time here cos it's all educational) yey!

of course i'll look after him - i'm a very caring person behind all the violence and war. does he have any special requirements? are you sure no-one in bristol needs him? (is bristol near birmingham - i always get mixed up, or do you pass through one on the way to the other or something?)

Oh my god - what an excellent name! We have a teacher called miss Tickle, which I thought was good, and Catherine's got an uncle called Willy Crilly, which is even better (and she used to have an aunty called Theresa Green - how lucky can one girl be), but i think Adam Dicker surpasses all of them.

ooooohhh, whoops. i remember now - i read a review of that somewhere and remember the wetness - and somewhere in it it said that standing in the rain listening to radiohead might be some people's idea of hell, but for them it couldn't get any better. (I must confess, I've only got The Bends but I bought Catherine OK Computer for her birthday with the intention of "borrowing" it and she's only gone and lost it! so i don't actually know that much radiohead stuff - but what i do know, i love)

Countdown to Coldplay
i know - when i looked at her every now and then and she was smiling i thought it was just cos she was made up to be there - not cos i looked like the cookie monster from sesame street. i think i'll stick to biting my nails next time.

Re: Interpol (not the british blokes with badges) didn't they play leeds/reading? did anyone see them? or am i completely mixed up (i think i know the answer to that already.)
