  7. Such great stories we have. And can share! I am a Coldplay addict & I will enjoy every moment of my daughter still loving them. We get in our car, roll the windows down and just sing away. I am so glad she still loves them it gives me someone to talk to about them (CP). The concert we attended in July we were way up in the nose bleed seats but loved every minute of it. She was singing & screaming so much I had to tell her to stop screaming.....she didn't listen......needless to say her voice was out for about 3 days!! And that was from the nose bleeds seats.....can you imagine what we will be like on the floor near the stage.?!? [emoji23][emoji173]️[emoji15] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. I was introduced to Coldplay in 2003, been hooked ever since. I introduced my daughter to their music when she was 7 years old.....took her to a concert when she was 8. She is now almost 18 & still loves them. [emoji1303] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  11. @coldplay_lover4, I'm replying to your question in the old Chicago thread, hope you see it here.[emoji4] I'm from southwest Michigan, so I come over on the 89/90 Toll Rd straight into the city. If I remember right, it turns into the Dan Ryan expressway after crossing the Skyway. Soldier Field is really easy to get to from there. It's on the far southeast side of the downtown loop near the lake shore and all the museums, so you won't have to go far into the city or deal with too much traffic. (You're coming from Indy, right?) Of course, try to get there a little early to avoid most of the stadium traffic. Set your GPS for Soldier Field or follow the signs and it'll take you right to the parking lots around the stadium. Last summer I parked in the Waldron lot just south of the stadium, and leaving after the concert was surprisingly easy too. All the traffic I was in got directed to highway (40-something?) which led me straight to the main interstate back south out of town. It was literally only about 15 minutes from the time we got in our car to when I was zipping down the highway well out of the city back home. One thing I'll warn you about....last time driving to the stadium, we wanted to eat dinner and use the bathroom somewhere before we got to the stadium in case things were crazy there. We only thought to do this a few exits before the stadium, and got off on some random street that was in a really scary part of town. I had thoughts of that scene in the Vacation movie where they get lost in St. Louis and lose all the hub caps on their car while asking for directions. Anyway, we managed to find a McDonald's a couple miles down that road and got back safely to the highway unscathed. Next time we'll do that much earlier and shoot for a nicer neighborhood.[emoji15] Yes, I am driving up from Indianapolis. I will make sure we come into town early. The Vacation movie scene.....I know exactly what you are referring too. A few years back I drove up to Chicago for a Coldplay concert at The United Center....got off at the wrong exit and ended up in a bad area. So I understand that. I seen this show in July here locally but we were in an indoor arena, so when I heard they were coming back to Chicagos outdoor stadium I knew I was in......[emoji23][emoji2] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. I am so excited for this concert!!!!! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. Do you live in the Chicago area? I have driven through there and know it's crazy! Any recommendations/advice on traffic? Since the concert falls on a Thursday night. Where exactly is Soldier Field located? Is it in the city or on the outskirts? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. I do not think you will receive a code now. I actually received my emailed code Sunday evening for the Monday presale. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  21. That I am sad about the *Coldplay NEEDS to wake up thread* Sad too see people so disappointed. Sure CP has made some CD's that I love more than others, but to read how much fans dislike their new sound/music is very heartbreaking! I love CP (some say I'm obsessed). I love anything they make!
