  1. I would sign a petition for Warning sign for sure, but is there one? lol Its definitely at the top of my "hope they play" list for the summer shows
  2. Same exact thing happend to me... I was going through the mail, didn't think anything with my name looked important and they just sat there for days..I really started looking and remembered Livenation and Ticketmaster ship their tickets in "plain" envelopes and voila!
  3. "Regardless, my central point was that both Hershey and Alpine Valley are two of the largest venues on the upcoming tour, and I think it's a bit premature to brand the whole tour a finacial failure at this point...." Never said it was:)
  4. It may not be that hard to get the camera in, it just depends. We have almost the same camera, I have the Powershot 1100IS its a good size for concerts. When I was front row to the Killers in Chicago I just stuck it in my back pocket. During the show I turned the outside screen off and the flash off and filmed pretty much the entire think, pictures were not coming out well because you really have to let the camera focus and you just dont have time for that when 4 security guards are staring at you:shocked2: I stuck the camera to my side and got some decent film from the show. http://www.youtube.com/view_play_list?p=C30FDFAEFA39E575
  5. There are still a few seats available for the pavilion and I just checked and Phish and DMB Sold out 2 nights each already for shows at alpine this summer.
  6. I am also interested in this. I don't think its anymore illegal than video taping, as long as you don't sell it. You can find quite a few concerts from this tour over on coldplaybootlegs.com I hope to record some concerts this summer but im in the same boat as you with what to actually record them with :\
  7. Ebs757 replied to Sleep's topic in Coldplay
No, but DANG this sounds good
  8. This is kind of sad that they are aren't selling them :(
  9. Exactly how I feel. While following the U2 sales last week, they had some GA tickets for sale almost 24 hours after going on sale for their second night in Boston. That might not seem like a lot but seeing that the show in Chicago had those tickets for sale for literally only 5 seconds it shows the fluctuation with the market. I just hope this doesn't effect the future of Coldplay coming back to the states:\
  10. I feel bad for the boys :( there are still a lot of Alpine tickets available too, especially the Lawn GA
  11. I wouldn't even bother bringing it in, if they don't catch you bringing it in they will catch you holding it up and confiscate it on the spot
  12. I have the EnV 2 also and unless you are in the back don't bother even bringing it...the images will be terrible. It is only 2mp. I brought a mid quality 8mp camera to some shows and it wasn't much better because of lighting etc. You are better off filming it but if you are planning on using a cell phone you might not be able to understand what the noise is
  13. Does anyone know for the Abu Dhabi show, were the blowers up in the lighting beams or were there machines spread out through the complex?
  14. You gotta have "Viva la vida tour" in there #3 looks awesome
  15. Cool :D http://www.economist.com/printedition/displayStory.cfm?Story_ID=13405314

  18. Chicago was filmed, as was Toronto in 2006. We still don't really know what is happening with that footage though
  19. Thanks for the info Ang and what an awesome pic!
  20. I talked to some sellers on ebay regarding the "seats" shown on Livenation and the Pit tix. Here is what I've been told "I called the venue and they said the orchestra pit is definitely the closest "seating" to the stage. There are no seats in the Pit however, so it is Standing Room Only, and holds about 500 people. The Pit is closer to the stage than any row!" ebayer #2- "While we have no specific info about this particular show, in the past when there has been a pit at Verizon they have removed the first 10-15 rows of section B seating to make a general admission standing room pit. If you have any further questions, please let us know." "B" is BEHIND the Orchestra section:\ http://www.livenation.com/venue/verizon-wireless-music-center-indianapolis-tickets#
  21. So is the pit just the first few rows of seats? http://www.livenation.com/venue/verizon-wireless-music-center-indianapolis-tickets#
  22. You're Pit tix? They were about $225 and up. How about on live nation?
