  1. shameless self-promoting bump :P
  2. I voted yes in that I've had one experience particular I can't explain. but overall I'm not fully sure.
  3. I haven't been here since August but I used to be here a lot. Almost too much.
  4. just got tix for the NYC show! edit: and by just I mean earlier today.
  5. ...I feel back at home.
  6. ...decided to pop my head in to see if I remember anyone. edit: I don't recognize most people here which is sad :( I miss the old crew.
  7. I saw them last night. The show was incredible! One of the best bands I've ever seen live! It was also cool because at the end of the show as I was trying to get to the exit I was walking next to Jonsi's partner Alex which was cool but didn't want to point him out or whatever. Afterwards I was sort of wishing I just tapped him on the shoulder and thanked him for Riceboy Sleeps since I love that album.
  8. Caveman tomorrow, then Sigur Ros Tuesday. And then a whole bunch of bands between now and the end of the year (Other Lives, David Byrne/St. Vincent, Grizzly Bear, Metric)
  9. I'll be able to make a list for this again, so I'm up for it
  10. Street Spirit was the only song for Encore 2
  11. live video of Treefingers! [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GvdWibyHvbk]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GvdWibyHvbk[/ame]
  12. how long until you see them?
  13. what a nice tribute.
  14. ^I guess that's probably the end of the show I imagine?
  15. Radiohead is no question a grower band. when I first heard songs by them I found them depressing and didn't like the band much. well look at me now! haha!
  16. never liked Jack White. I respect him as a musician but don't like his vocals or type of music.
  17. I'd start with either The Bends, OK Computer or In Rainbows. In general those albums seem to be the best bets to start on
  18. just watching videos from Montreal and I still can't believe that they played like the full version of True Love Waits as an intro. it was so beautiful and great! [ame= ] [/ame]
  19. Didn't even read it, but whenever I see religious nuts bring up God and things happening I automatically dismiss their point due to stupidity.
  20. Thanks! I was standing 2nd/3rd row on Ed's side my Camera is a Nikon coolpix s9100. The big problem with the camera is that you can't adjust the shutter speed so a bunch of pics are blurry. The camera is good if you are close. The further you are away from the stage the less good the quality is because it automatically decides the shutter speed.
  21. some of my photos from the Montreal show:
  22. I don't know what the weather was like to be honest. Another consideration I didn't think of besides limited time, and the ground is also wind conditions. I mean I'm sure all shows have been inside so maybe they weren't prepared for an outdoor show. Or maybe it was windy or something.
  23. I'm so sad to hear about the news of the stage collapse. It's interesting because I was talking to my brother and we both found it weird that they would do a tour date the next day, considering that the show ended at 10:45pm. So they had to disassemble it all, pack everything, drive 6 hours, set it all up for a show. Way too rushed IMO. Just a terrible thing that could've been easily prevented! The Montreal show though was amazing! Myxomatosis was so tight! I went to the show with Briggins and we both got 2nd row on Ed's side. Just a great concert!
