  1. Chinese Sleep Chant [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H6Eaua1m0jA]YouTube - Chinese Sleep Chant (Ottawa 2008)[/ame]
  2. I thought usually in the hallways - didn't see any oxfam people inside the actual arena - just wandering and sitting at tables outside in the halls... same in Toronto too... thought about volunteering but figured it would suck being stuck in the halls :)

  4. its always funny (for me at least) to read articles from people who haven't followed or heard of their concert tricks to say things like 'they were IN THE CROWD' or like the dude sitting behind me telling his girlfriend "those people must have paid premium prices for those tickets" where they do the acoustic set in the crowd... uhhhh no..... :laugh3:
  5. forgot to mention another rather disappointing event that I saw... I had actually forgotten my memory card in the car when I was sitting in the arena at my seat some 20 minutes before the opening act so I asked the ushers if I could go to my car and get my card.. They said sure and scanned my ticket... as I was returning through the front foyer I looked over at the ticket booths and I couldn't believe the long lines of people trying to buy tickets.. At the Toronto show both nights were sold out long before the event but I couldn't believe how many people were in line for tickets at the booth. Either there were tons of tickets still remaining OR these people really took a huge chance waiting til the last minute for tickets...
  6. God Put A Smile Upon Your Face and Talk [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B1B39MqKTz4]YouTube - God Put A Smile Upon Your Face, Talk (Acoustic) (Ottawa 2008)[/ame] at the end Chris does the 'falling to the floor from the piano' thing :) note: just noticed youtube has a multi-video uploader... i've tagged all 20+ videos and will post links as they become available.
  7. a small montage of butterflies my wife and 8yr old son collected http://img221.imageshack.us/my.php?image=montagedy4.jpg
  8. as with Toronto this will take a while to get through youtube... they will slowly appear in this thread as I upload them all... just be patient please :) Trust me when I say the entire concert will be here :)
  9. hey guys - its late (5hr drive back - its almost 6am and i need sleep)... but here's a video to hold you over til i get the rest uploaded after I get some sleep... Life in Technicolour and Violet Hill [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8rjnLvpdgQM]YouTube - Life in Technicolour, Violet Hill[/ame] Clocks and In My Place [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v774yHxyb2M]YouTube - Clocks[/ame]

Setlist Life in Technicolour Violet Hill Clocks In My Place Speed of Sound Cemeteries of London Chinese Sleep Chant 42 Fix You Strawberry Swing God Put A Smile Upon Your Face / Talk (Acoustic) Hardest Part Postcards From Far Away Viva La Vida Lost The Scientist (Acoustic) Death Will Never Conquer (Acoustic) Viva La Vida (Dance Remix) Politik Lovers in Japan Death And All His Friends Yellow (Encore) Start - 8:45pm - End 10:35pm Videos (complete concert) in the morning after my 5hr drive back to Toronto :( A few funny moments (which you'll see in the vids) like Chris saying Oasis forgave Canada for the little 'incident' last month and that the 2 countries have made up. Chris was quite energetic (purposely tumbling from the piano to the ground at times). Crowd really got into it but still frustrating to see lots of people leaving before the final encore. Got tons of butterflies this time. Awesome night... looking forward to some 2009 dates.
  11. 8pm and opening act "Stars" is still playing through their setlist. They are actually quite good and the sound is great (much better than the other opening act Santogold that they used back in the summer. People seem to be cheering and enjoying them.
  12. It's 6:46pm and we're inside the arena having pizza and eagerly awaiting the start. Will keep all posted as best I can. So great to be here watching them again altho I have this feeling the show won't live up to Toronto's. There just doesn't seem to be the same amount of excitement from everyone.
  13. check in the Coldplay Multimedia forum (specifically under the absolute radio gig munich 26.09.08 section). I've posted the entire online stream in separate mp3 tracks (and fsa posted the single file version).
  14. just thought i'd revive this thread a bit... seeing as how this is the opening night of the North American tour (part 2) I wonder what kinds of goodies they will bring to the show? Maybe a longer setlist??? (here's hoping).. any thoughts?
  15. hahaha thats hilarious... poor Chris... having an off day :P
  16. more or less - it actually says Chris Martin is Vegetarian. Want to know why? No I'm not spanish - but am Portuguese and the language is close enough to understand.
  17. heh - must be nice... here in North America you're looking at least 24hrs if not more to get anywhere near the front for major concerts and events (providing there are actually any standing areas since most concerts are all seated and ticketed as such). Might need to take a trip to Europe :)
  18. oh trust me when I say - you're not the only one that has gotten emotional during the extreme buildup during Life in Technicolour... when that first guitar note rings out its like a massive sensory overload.... :) and then 90min later during Death And All His Friends when the curtain comes down its like the most sad feeling knowing its coming to an end... quite the whirlwind from beginning to end of the concert. (and then when they actually played Don't Panic in Toronto that just about killed me).
  19. concert in mp3 format is up on coldplaybootlegs for anyone interested...
  20. concert in mp3 format on coldplaybootlegs...
