  1. I'm far too uncool to smoke weed but my experience of weed smokers is they won't shut up about it and they become very 2 dimensional. It's not addiction, just an obsession.
  2. This to me is the direction X&Y should have gone after AROBTTH. It's just so heart felt yet upbeat. I get the impression that after AROBTTH, they had little fuel left to create the emotionally sad songs coldplay expertise in (possibly due to Chris finding love, having children etc.) and X&Y tried to fake it a bit, you could hear in Chris' voice that the pain and emotion in previous albums wasn't there. I'm not saying that's bad! I hope very much that the band are happy! But with X&Y they didn't really write for their new emotions whereas the two new album songs strike me as very emotionally driven but in a different way which is brilliant, a perfect evolution and it's no surprise so many of us have reacted emotionally to this song because the old Coldplay are back it would seem with songs where we can feel and relate to the emotions the band is feeling and it completely absorbs us. I've got to admit I missed the feeling more than I realised.
