I don't really know about her but she's free to say what she wants, just like Chris is free to say he admires the uncountable amount of girls he mentions. She's 15, it's what 15 year olds do.

A rush of blood to the head is their best song lyrically in my opinion. So angry in a loving way...Can't pick a specific line from it.

Nothing wrong with a band covering a band they like. It's a nice twist on the original, good stuff :)

I love the version at glastonbury when they did that funky intro and Chris temporarily becomes a monkey.

COL: Just after the first verse where the acoustic guitar kicks in Lost!: The guitar in the chorus 42: "You didn't get to heaven but you made it close" possibly the funniest/darkest lines I've heard. LIJ: The first jam bit. ROL: The chilled out beginning Yes: Can't pick, love it all. CSC: Meh VLV: Hmmm pretty much all of it. VH: "If you love me, why'd you let me go?" Very powerful lyric change. SS: "It's such a perfect day" DAAHF: The last choir, very cool. Everyone is really screaming how they aren't ready to die Escapist: Pretty short to have a favourite bit, all nice.

The scientist, I had heard some of their songs before but never was obsessed but the scientist really caught me at the perfect time.

Three of the best performances I've seen live have had insane dancing frontmen (Coldplay, Muse (Anyone who's seen Matt's sideshuffle dance will get what I mean!), REM)

The comment about him being sexist was awful. I feel sorry for Chris, he really takes things hard and you just want to tell him how appreciated he is amongst us fans.

Yeah I mentioned the same in another topic. It was the first song that came to my mind when I heard it. Definitely my fav on the album.

Definitely the album X&Y should have been. Obviously can't compare to the first two albums till I've heard it a few more times but I am very happy :)

I am just listening to it now, I love it! Bits remind me of House of the rising sun.

He's just sensitive about some issues, if it wasn't for that then we'd not have the kind of lyrics he produces. It's not like he's shooting heroin, he's just very protective of his family and hates having to feel like he needs to validate it. Great interview anyways

Why are there so many VLV dislikers? I mean it's clearly a matter of preference but I would have thought it'd be the favourite especially after the response when everyone first heard it. Not saying anyone is wrong, just interested to see what peoples reasons are. I liked Violet hill a lot till I heard the other songs and I realised they were setting higher standards than Violet hill imo so I can understand an opinion change, just curious what everyones are. And as someone who selected Yes as high, in response to those questioning how people can judge it on the short clip, I'm not sure but some songs just give a good vibe to me and it really has stood out to me. Very excited to hear it fully which may be why it's so high in my list.
