Oh well...it always seems like the random artists you've never heard of win album of the year...maybe thats what makes the Grammys special--they give credit where its due to people who otherwise would never have gotten any I'm not bitter. and I must say, that woman amongst the winners was quite pretty. I notice it was pretty silence as they accepted the award, I suspect people were expecting Coldplay or Lil Wayne to win. Stevie's performing now. It would have been great for him and Paul to have doe Ebony and Ivory :D anyways...I'm done saying my random, useless thoughts and stealing the bandwidth of this already laggy forum...

OK, I have a feeling that Lil Wayne is out of the running for Album of the Year. Half of the songs on it (there was like 16 tracks) weren't that good anyways. So on consistency, Tha Carter III is lacking. But Coldplay has the consistency, so they may just win!!

The only person I know for sure ISN'T going to get Album of the Year is Ne-Yo for "Year of the Gentleman"...though its kind of bias of me seeing that I've never listened to that album.

meh...I thought Coldplay did average. U2s performance intrigued me more (maybe its because I've seen Coldplay perform Viva so many times). Radiohead was the best of all tonight, hands down. Hands down.

I was expecting Ne-Yo, Paul, or the guy who sings "I'm Yours" to win....definitely not John Mayer. Haven't even heard that song before.

I must add to the list of the prominent Brit foreigners at the Grammys tonight: We have Coldplay, Estelle, Adele, Sir Paul McCartney...then there is also M.I.A. and Radiohead...they sure do know their music....

I do believe they are performing with M.I.A....they all rapped over a song which samples "Paper Planes". The Londoners are ruling tonight: Coldplay, Estelle, Adele, and not to mention Paul. I loved Kanye's retro attire btw, he's always original, even if he is showy :P

you have to realize that its teenagers who are voting for these awards...the same teens who probably put daughtry on a pedestal higher than Coldplay because daughtry was on american idol, and because they are more mainstream... i'm doubting them winning the next award they were nominated for :(

I think the performance was amazing :). Chris Martin seemed to have some trouble hitting some notes I guess...but overall it was a beautiful performance.

Are there going to be anymore Coldplay performances or anything? Otherwise, I'm just gonna turn this crappy MTV off...

Lowly...I could write an essay on how you contradict yourself, and how very wrong you are. But I would never do that, because you're a waste. Of time. Of space. In fact, this thread should be closed. The atmosphere here is too negative and too daunting for my taste.
