18-May-2009: Verizon Wireless Music Center, Birmingham, AL
Went back this morning to see if I could better my seats, but the best available now was 20 rows behind our current seats, so I guess the presale was the way to go. I wonder where all those seats in 101,102, and 103 went? I guess radio stations got some, and maybe to folks who have season passes at the Verizon Amphitheater?

Even so, We'll probably be closer than the other two times we seen them play, which is good. Makes me wonder how you'd ever get the front sections.

Just got my tickets through the TicketRush presale. Not thrilled. Section 202, Row J, seats 13-16 Makes me wonder if sections 101,102, and 103 were even part of the presale. $390 for 4 tickets $24 parking fee $80.60 ticket fee $31.20 ticket tax $525.80 total for 4 middle of the pack seats. Guess I'll check back on Monday when tickets open to the public and see if the best seats are available then? I was too scared to risk not getting the best I could get to day, thinking that not much would be left on Monday. Argh, what can you do.

TicketRush Has anyone used TicketRush on Live Nation before. The Live Nation site now says TicketRush starting March 13th at 5PM CST. I signed up for TicketRush and got the password, but we'll see.

Yeah, it's at what use to be the Oak Mountain (now Verizon Amphitheater). Bout 15 miles south of the BJCC on I-65. Never seen Coldplay outdoors. Hope the weather cooperates.

YES!! I've been to Atlanta (3 hours) to see them, Houston (7 or 8 hours) to see them, and now I'll get to drive 10 minutes to see them. Wonderful news.

11-Nov-08: Atlanta - Tickets, Preview, Meetups, Review/Photos
I had section 4 on the floor this morning, panicked thinking maybe that was too far back or we'd be behind the sound dock, so I hit back on my browser to check concert reviews for Phillips Arena, then couldn't get back in to get tickets!?!?! Had a staff meeting at work which lasted an hour, came back, and got section 112, row R, seats 4-3 Not as great as section 4 on the floor, but they'll be good seats, and much better than the one's we had in Houston in '06, which where nose bleed

I have been wondering that too. It's still listed, but says something like more information to follow. Making me nervous!
