Clocks..(february of 2003 I believe) funny story... I was in a farmacy parking lot in the car with my mom when Clocks started playing on the radio.... I couldn't even move.... my eyes were wide open and I just listened and listened and I couldn't believe it... it made me feel all strange. When it was done playing I was like "MOM!!!!!! WHO SINGS THAT???!!! MOM!!!!!! TELL MEEEE!!!" hahaha she was completely freaked out... she just kinda sinked in her seat and said "I don't knowww" :laugh3: ....when I got home I listened to the radio aaall day to see if they would play it and say the name of the band and song... when they finally played it I went online and started looking at all the band info... listened to a few songs.. and I couldn't believe it... I was in love :smug: although soon after that when I heard Trouble I was pretty sure I had hear it before Clocks.. but maybe it was just my imagination :P

that's so sad.... and yet... so hilarious!! :lol:

I had a dream a few years back where they were waiting for me to go talk to them... the dream was in black and white and it was really realistic. I felt like I had actually talked to them... I was so happy and relieved when I woke up I can't remember what we talked about though ...I DID remember back then but now I don't :confused:

aww that's beautiful and.. I'm sorry bout your mom They're music's always been my strenght too ...especially when I got bullied for liking them hehe We actually have VERY similar stories. A warning sign and swallowed in the sea also got me by.. when my father passed away

They have become a very big band but they still seem like down-to-earth people perhaps attending a radio show?

I wish I'd tried to meet them back when they used to play in like House of Blues ...but still, I don't think it's impossible to meet them now answers people! I have no more nails to eat :laugh3:

does anyone think that if their memory ever got erased and someone showed them like a Coldplay picture they would probably recognize it or at least feel like a little tingle? :D

OK so I've been a Coldplay fan for a while now but I've never been able to meet the band.. my goal now would be to do this during the VLV tour. Since some of you have met the band one way or another... I want to ask all of you for any advice on HOW to do this any recommendations? :) (someone's gonna nag cos this is my 2nd thread today :P)
