This is just something I was wondering yesterday.. seeing as many of us feel so strong about Coldplay and spend most of our time doing Coldplay related stuff.. What would you be doing if there was no Coldplay? I'd probably go out more often, I'd be mentally sane :P ..but at same time I think I'd be pretty empty and I'd probably be one of those greedy Radiohead fans lol

When you quickly recognize the word "Coldplay" in a page full of text that you haven't read When you wanna punch your friends everytime they say "Did you watch the new Coldplay video?" or "Have you listened to the new Coldplay song?" because you know you were probably one of the first 50 or 100 people to watch/hear it When your friends don't call you by your name.. they just say "Coldplay" and you quickly respond

calm down... it's totally fine that you're not pleased with the new songs.. it's simply not the type of music that you're into. But look at the bright side... you've still got many old Coldplay songs to love forever.. they're not going anywhere. I completely understand what you mean cuz that's kinda how I feel too.. except I am impressed by some of the songs. Listen to the album and if you don't like it.. then you don't like it.. but don't freak out. When I listened to X&Y I didn't like it much but I kept listening to their old songs and everything was fine.... I hope I'm helping cuz you sound all freaked out :shocked2:

I think this obsession should have a name... and a research organization :S lol anyway.. -When people ask you what type of music you like and the first thing that pops up in your head is COLDPLAY! -When your family nods in a disapointed way when they see what you're looking at on the computer... obviously Coldplay stuff -When people grab your iPod to see what music you have and quickly give it back you when they see that it's all Coldplay -When you keep reloading the forum page -When you've heard Chris Martin's voice more than your family member's voices
