  1. Thought people might want to know this: I tried testing out the Ticketrush site for tickets again just a while ago. There seems to be a new setup listing shows having presales today but the same login isn't the same one I've been using the last few days. However, if you go directly to the Livenation site, you can still click on the link that says TickeRush Presale in your show's tab. The same presale code on the TicketRush site still works. Just a rearrangement of things today. I'm not sure if it has anything to do with Coldplay or just the plain timing of things.
  2. I have been to concerts with people, groups of people, and solo. They are all great experiences as I'm there with the mindset to enjoy the music and have a good time regardless. Usually I go solo to concerts since not all my friends and family members have the same interests or $$$ to do so. Although it doesn't seem I'm by myself with other fans around me. I find I can focus more on my bad singing when I go solo or go with someone who equally enjoys a band as much as I do. There's nothing worse than having someone talk your ear off when you're trying to listen to the music. I plan to go solo once again as I did the last concert...cause everyone in my circle thinks once you've seen them once, you've seem them all, :surprised: but really they're just strapped for cash so I don't blame them. I do see a difference between single tickets and more than one, so maybe that's my real motive ;)
  3. You can still access the actual Livenation site with the Ticketrush code, where there will be three links to enter your presale code, there's one for Ticketrush and Radio presales. You should head over to LN, and click on the Chula Vista show or any other shows that had presales today to get a clear idea of what it will look like, it made good practice for me.
  4. The TicketRush presale password works on both Ticketmaster and Livenation sites. For me, from looking around for the Chula Vista concert, LiveNation seemed to have better seats than TM. A single ticket w/ fees from LN totaled to $119 (note it was not GA level). TM might have a higher cost in fees from what I've read. Plus LN was a bit faster in getting to ur tickets after punching in a verification code, etc. You can always have TM and LN both open and start with LN for tickets first. As for grabbing the first set or finding one you like best, that's a tough one. For your situation, it would be on the safer side to go with the first you get unless it's absolutely not what you want/pay for, like nosebleeders seats, it couldn't hurt to try a few more times in hopes you get lower level seats. Hope that helps. : )
  5. I haven't found it either on the ticketmaster site but it's definitely on the livenation site, which is the same link that coldplay.com directs you to. LiveNation link In my past experiences with Livenation, sometimes it redirects me to the ticketmaster site for some concerts. Who knows, maybe they could add it at the last minute but the safe bet would be to try Livenation first since it's already listed.
  6. On the coldplay site, it says the presale is on the 13th of Feb. for the Toronto show. It also notes that the venue still needs to be confirmed so maybe that's why they do not have it on either site. Hopefully they will show a right link soon or postpone the pre-sale for your show. ;)
  7. This is awesome as while the HP Pavilion center wasn't as bad...Shoreline beats all, always the best sound and energy at this venue, plus it's outdoors. Garlic fries anyone?, just glad to see it made it on the tour list. :) Although I wonder how the stage setting would work here, never seen extended staging at this venue. Maybe they plan to switch it up.
  8. I like this video, it had me giggling. I admit, when the puppets came out, I saw that only Johnny looked true to reality, Chris a little, Will and Guy definitely not. But after watching more into it, this is what made the video more hilarious for me. It's intentional...when does anyone see Guy beaming a smirk/smile like that on stage, lol? They're poking fun at themselves, heh. I have to credit the audience though since their reactions to the band topped it all, especially the first eye roll by the boy with the glasses. Just Classically Brilliant and funny :laugh3:.
  9. Found this clip of the audience doing the wave : ) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4NjWsLaocZc Still haven't found a good version of "Yes" and "Chinese Sleep Chant" though
  10. Thanks for that, I can't wait...well I can wait a little. ;) For me personally, it just struck me strange to have the whole arena totally jamming on some songs, then have the lower sections completely all sit down, then back up again into it, it was a different experience for me but nevertheless an awesome one I had. I remember the Shoreline show a few years back where I was seated pretty far back. I just remember trying to see over all the people standing or moreso rocking out. Probably was just a different crowd. I also understand that to stand up the whole concert is not feasible for everyone, I even paid for it later myself when I got home.
  11. Oh I think I only looked back once, Glad to know though that there were other people around me enjoying the concert as much as I was. I was wearing a white shirt underneath a black vest...now that I think about it, I never once sat down when Coldplay came on. : ) If I were Chris running down those ramps under those dim lights, I would be flying into the crowd, not by choice either. I hope too he doesn't fall off at any upcoming shows...since I would feel really bad for laughing when I see the clip (knocking on wood)
  12. After watching the video (which btw was done very well) I think I was right behind you. Not totally sure but I was in row 17 right in front of a railing... And Clocks30CM if you were wearing a white top, then you were definitely rocking out! : )
  13. Most of this might sound like a broken record by now... So I just got back from the San Jose show 2nite, it was just lovely. Of course all the awesome songs were played especially one of my favorites "Politik", I had fun body and head banging to that one. "Yes" and "Chinese Sleep Chant" were other highlights 4 me. The crowd was cool, the top and lower sections all did the wave b4 Coldplay came out. But what was up with the people in my section (128) sitting down during some of the songs?....really! Literally I was pretty much the only one standing up in my section but at least the band could locate me more easily, I would like to think that Guy Berryman was applauding me for my dancing, even if that's very much wishful thinking. HP's sound was better than normal so all the booming bass, banging drum kicks, and crisp euphoric guitar notes, and choir-like singing was very easy to enjoy. Chris slipped up a few times on some of the newer songs, I liked it cuz it showed he is human (knew that already btw). Also I just barely learned all them songs meself. But he bounced back singing something along the lines of "San Jose...the people here are very forgiving" Some lucky people were graced by the band singing right by them, the whole band managed to run across the floor and up into the lower section and Chris said "Oh now I see what it's like" and in2 "the Hardest Part". After that Will sang a song, quite a good singer, he should do it more hans solo. All in all, it was nice with all the neonized confetti, magical balls, & the band's humble presence. I hope someone got footage of the Lovers In Japan video on the big screen, loved the screenshot of those 2 puppy dogs : )
