Effect processors
Thanks very much! As I said in the first post, I wanted to hear personal oppinions, so this is a perfect reply. :) Unfortunately, I don't think it's possible to try these exact pedals in my local music shop. :( If I remember well, there are only different versions(like the Korg without the expression pedal) of the processors. But when I decided to buy an effect processor, I was going for the Korg, so it's still my number one at the moment. If you(or anyone reading this) know this Korg processor well, could you please tell me, if I can create my own reverb, delay and other effects? Because I heard that some effects aren't separated. And how many effects can this Korg run at the same time? (please don't tell me "Google is your friend" or something like that, because I've already done search on the processors, but what I found were mostly just marketing stuff) Thanks! :)

Thanks very much. :D I've just recently visited the local music shop, and to my surprise, they have the Digitech pedal! So I think I'll try it out in a few days time.

Yeah, if I'm correct the Korg has a wah. And you can controll it with the expression pedal.

At the moment, I really can't decide... I've seen YouTube videos of the Korg and Zoom pedals, but not the Digitech. I wish some who knew the effects better than me wrote in the topic, and helped me out. :\

telecaster: My name is Lovas J. B. (yes, I have 3 names, but I won't tell them all). But let's get back to the topic. You told that you are going to buy that Zoom effect. So, have you bought it? bearcat1229: I did some research on the Digitech RP-90 pedal and it looks like that it was the worst of the three. I'm sure your guitarist could afford an older, but better pedal than this, that's why it was cool. :) But I could be wrong, and this RP-90 could be the best of the three?

Wow. Thanks a lot guys! I think I won't buy this DL4 in the year(I need the money for other stuff), but please, could you help me make that sound? I would be happy if I could just hear it on some website(yes, I've done Google search  ).

telecaster: Cool, have fun with it! :) My guitar is a Squier Affinity Telecaster. I know what you people think deep in you, but here where I live the instrument prices are pretty high, so I'll have to stick with it for the moment. bearcat1229: Yes I know that I could add an expression pedal later, but that would be way too much at the moment unfortunately, I I bought Line 6 stuff. :( Probably with a Line 6 Pocket POD but I haven't heard much good about it.

Effect processors
Hello guys. I need your help again. :) I would like to buy a cheap effect processor(I don't have a job, since I'm a secodary school student), and I found three, which look like it could be cool in the price range. They are: -Korg AX5G -Zoom G1X -Digitech RP-90 I've chosen them, because, frst of all, they are pretty cheap, probably decent, and have an expression/volume pedal. I haven't tried any of them, because you can't really find them at the local music shop, so I'll have to order them from the internet. I know this is very bad, but that seems to be the only choice(or I can buy horrible stuff from the shop, that I tried :D ). So please if you can tell me which of these three is the best - IN YOUR OPPINION! Mostly I want good delay, reverb, tremolo and that stuff... And some amp models, of course. My guess would be the Korg, because... well, it's Korg, so it has to be cool. :D To be honest, I wish I could buy a Line 6 processor, but they come without expression/volume pedal, and are a bit more expensive than this 3 others. Thanks for your help!

Talk Sound
No problem, and thanks for your help. :) I still don't understand though how he gets that unique sound with just a Tele and reverb. Guess I'll have to buy a Telecaster Thinline and Hotrod DeVille amp, then? :\

Talk Sound
I always thought it was a clean sound. I don't have a RAT so I have no right to judge it, but it sounds clean to me(again, on the CD. Or are there more instruments than just the guitar playing that riff?).

Talk Sound
I hope so, because I would really like to get that amazing sound.

Talk Sound
I tabbet out the part by ear, so I believe I know the correct notes. Yes, I am looking for pedals and effects. :) Oh, and please excuse my bad english, that's not my mother tongue, but hope you can understand me. :)

Talk Sound
I really hope this hasn't been asked, because I couldn't find the answer in this huge ocean of forum threads. So, my question is: how does Jonny get his guitar sound between 03:42 and 03:58 in the song "Talk"? I am really interested, since that's my favourite guitar part in... I think the whole album. :)

Hello Coldplay fans! I'm really happy to be part of the forum, and I've just registered a moment ago. I'm 16 years old. Of course, I love Coldplay, and enjoy playing the guitar(that's why I put Buckland into my avatar). I come from Hungary, and I study in a bilingual secondary school. So, I just wanted to say hi, and I hope I won't be an annoying little guy. :laugh3: Oh, and excuse my bad english, as I said I'm Hungarian. So please, bear with me. :D
