Yeah I know what you mean, I just thought he was ok, but not bad by any means. He was very funny in some parts, I loved the motorcycle chase through campus. And the jeep fight was one of the best action scenes Spielburgs done in awhile, and Shia was great in that, had me laughing the whole time. And I guess if they had someone else play him who is more serious it would have taken away from the mood they were going for with the character. And yes the aliens were very stupid, and very unoriginal as aliens go. Like they took the most cliche alien you can have and put them in the movie. The special effects were incredible in some parts, but overused and fake looking in others, where you could clearly tell that it was computer generated and it took away from the scene

Haha, yeah it's finally bearable to walk around without some kind of coat or jacket. We have like 3 months of summer and 9 of winter, it can get annoying. Absolutely beautiful now though

Personally think its great I really think that X & Y is an underrated album. I'd put it just below AROB. I'm not saying it's perfect, and some of the lyrics can be a little cliche and trite, like that brain fart on swallowed in the sea, but even that is a good song if you can overlook that. Talk has an absolutely KILLER fucking bass riff, even if that riff is taken from Kraftwerk, the song is amazing. And I also think its a great album to fall in love to, at least I did ha. One of my girlfriends from hs and I used to listen to this almost every time we hung out for awhile, as well as driving around. The only song that I don't love so much is twisted logic, it just grates on me after awhile (backwards, forward repeat, repeat, repeat). Still a decent song though, least the first few times. It's one of my least favorite Coldplay tracks though Overall all though it really is something special I think. And the b sides from this are really quite amazing, some probably should have been on the album. Proof is absolutely gorgeous, as is Gravity for that matter. And How You See the World and the World Turned Upside Down are really great songs.

Liked it a lot First post for me, about Indiana Jones though ha But yeah I thought Ford was great as always, and that it was a lot of fun. I really enjoyed it. And I agree with you about the plot, the aliens themselves are very unoriginal. Kate Blanchett annoyed me a little too... maybe thats just hold over from not liking her in Don't Look Back. And I think Shia Lebauf (sp?) was a terrible miscast, he was ok, but nothing special and really just had me laughing at how ridiculous he looked in his Brando/Dean get up. Overall it was a lot of fun though

Hey, Been coming here for awhile, thought I'd finally join. You guys seem to like coldplay even more than me (quite a feat) and the site itself is really great. Oh, and I can't wait for VLV, like everyone I suppose
