Be grateful they are even touring? It's their job!!! It's what they are supposed to do, and i'm sure all the money they get for it they love it, just as much as we love them.

The tickets prices for seats are extremley reasonable, just wish there was a standing section too... takes away the excitment for devoted coldplay fans waiting hours before its supposed to start, wondering whether they will get the barrier. loved it.

Oh Jesus get over yourself and read properly. I didn't say "get it through your head" i said why cant people get it through "their" heads. There is a difference. FACT Coldplay are a BAND. Having all seating makes them like POP, like Westilfe, Cliff Richard. FACT It WILL be fairer to have a standing section AS WELL AS seats for those old people who want to sit down or people with disabilities. Having standing will mean there is an EQUAL chance of people getting to the barrier, more space means more people will get tickets, thus it is fairer. Are you telling me that sitting at the side high up is better than being at the barrier, about 1 metre away from the band??? Insane if you think so.

Get up and what?? Be able to move 1 inch to the front cos your stopped by a seat infront of you. In a crowd of people you move together, there's adrenaline its FUN.

Agreed. I can't actually get over it, I've always been to coldplay gigs standing. Coldplay are a band, they are NOT POP, so I don't understand the seat business. :veryangry2:

How can you be a true coldplay fan? ITS UNFAIR NOT TO HAVE STANDING. "Nobody will sit down anyway" THATS NOT THE POINT. it's STUPID to have seats at a gig, have seats for old people or people with health problems, or when you go to the cinema. NOT FOR COLDPLAY GIG, the atmosphere will be ruined. YOu have obviously been to westlife gigs all your life if your not bothered by this.

Your right there is a massive difference, and anyone that fials to see that has obviosuly not been to a proper gig before.

Sitting at the side is the worst place ever. Why don't people get it through their heads that having a standing area is so much more practical and fairer for coldplay fans. When you buy standing tickets you each get an equal chance of getting to the barrier, depending on if you get their early enough. Having seats at a gig SUCKS, its like going to the cinema. You won't get half the adrenaline as you would do if you were in an excited crowd.

People are bitching because its not fair!!! There is no chance of getting to the barrier.. to get to the front you have to now pay over £100 for vip tickets. RIDICULOUS

Annnnd It makes it so much FAIRER and EQUAL if say 2000 coldplay fans got standing tickets.. there is an equal chance of getting to the barrier, instead of having to pay ridiculous prices for reserved seats. (Some of which were £100).

THERE SHOULD BE STANDING !!! I've been saying it all day! I am GUTTED. It won't be a proper gig, I hate sitting at gigs. And there SHOULD HAVE BEEN A PRE-SALE of the standing tickets!! Frm a very ANNOYED Coldplay fan.

Fair enough, it makes sense to seem them sitting than not see them at all, it's still disappointing though.

I saw Muse at Earl's court standing, it was immense.. but only managed to get seating tickets for manchester, and the same thing happened to me.. being stuck at the back with people seemed like they hadn't even heard of muse, and a dead atmosphere. Every coldplay gig I've been too (and there has been quite a few) I have always stood, I can't imagine not standing :confused:

So when you were sat down in 2005, was that just as good as the 2002 & 2003 ones? Being at the barrier? In touching distance of guy? Surely it was better to stand..

That's sounds even more ridiculous than coldplay not having standing. It's about the atmosphere you get from being in a crowd, the hype, the movement, it's such an adrenaline rush.. People that have never stood up at a gig have missed out big time.
