Sadly its the way the BBC do this. I had tickets for a live recording of a BBC show, went down to the studios with tickets in hand after work, only to be told on arrival that the aduience was full. What a joke, treking all the way into London for nothing. I applied for the tickets - got through just before 10.40.

Unlikely, but i hope everyone from this thread wins tickets. We've kept each other going through this nervy time. Cant believe we have to wait another day. My fingers are now glued together. One good thing to come out of today - i got my tickets for one of the o2 shows.:laugh3:

You're not the first to say that mate, but its deliberate. I've tried Burgundy on other sites before and it always says that the name has been taken, so i've got used to putting an A in.

Its not too bad mate - Victoria Line all the way. Probably takes 25 minutes roughly.

Couldnt agree more. Granted, you dont have to be a poster on a forum to be a real fan, but i just hope the tickets end up in the right hands. I will be very angry if i hear of touts outside the venue next week. It was bad enough losing out on tickets for the o2 shows thanks to the sneaky gits.

I think anyone willing to travel from Austalia at a week's notice not only deserves a ticket but also a medal. I hope you get a ticket mate.

You'd think it would be today wouldnt you - one week before the gig. There's probably a few 100,000 who applied for tickets I reckon, so i wouldnt say I'm ready to celebrate, but I have everything crossed. By the way Laura - Dove Abiti?

As a journo I'm surprised the NME or other music sites havent picked up on this. Its bad PR for the band after announcing a date that people would be notified. It would have been easier to just leave the date off of the confirmation emails and keep people guessing. Its a shame.

Too late, fully booked. And even if you did get a chance to register, it guarantees you nothing.

BBC site now has coldplay event as fully booked. I had serious trouble getting onto the site this morning. I doubt very much i was in the first 250.

I feel sorry for those who live further away and need to sort out time of work and travel. The gig is just over a week away and if we dont find out today, it's probably not going to be until next week now.

Question is, how do we know it hasnt been announced? There must have been a few hundred thousand people who registered for this, so its not exactly a dead cert that someone from these forums gets a pair.

I went out to do some shopping and thought a few of you might have got tickets by now - what's going on? The BBC comp looks good, but jesus its going to be a mental scamble for tickets.

I was there. I live just outside london and jumped on the first train into Euston. Walked down to the Koko and joined the queue just before 5am - on my own. Think if i remember rightly I was about the 140th person in line (they gave you a little ticket). Indeed, £20 to see the show, gave you a wrist band and a ticket so you couldnt flog the ticket on as you needed both to get in. Amazing gig, 1,000 people in a small venue, one of my most memorable gigs. A great way of doing it, but not fair on those who live miles away.

London Ticket Winners Today is the day we find out whether we have won tickets for the Brixton gig. Shout out loud and proud if you one in this thread. My fingers are firmly crossed.

That's because they've been blown away by a typical Coldplay performance. You're on such a high after you've seen the band that you want to take away something to remind you of it. My advice would be to get one before. I got an X&Y t-shirt before their gig at Crystal Palace Stadium and their were no queues.

My mistake, we find out tomorrow apparently. Everything is crossed.
