  1. The silver package is £595. It says so on the link. That is for seats that are very far from the stage.
  2. I would guess this is a standing gig cos otherwise the silver package would be attached to downstairs seats, which would be much closer to the stage. However, if there are no downstairs seats, then the balcony is the only place you can sit.
  3. Most gigs there are standing cos you can fit more people in that way.
  4. The capacity is about 5000 if it is standing downstairs. Then you have about 3500 standing on the ground, and 1500 seated above. if it is all seating, the capacity is significantly less.
  5. It's a beautiful thing that Coldplay have done for these kids. That article brought tears to my eyes. Kids need to know celebrities are just people like the rest of us, setting goals one day at a time, and trying to do the right thing. Hope these tickets sell.
  6. The competition winners now know who they are. I know somebody who won. Also, someone is already trying to sell a plus one on ebay for £300. Lame (forgive me if that's for charity).
  7. I don't believe it. I got a ticket! I can never get tickets, certainly couldn't get tickets to the O2 Arena date, failed on the presale for this three days ago, and thought there would be no point even trying in the general sale, then tried anyway, and got one. Yay! Mylo Xyloto, I won't need to wait 'til Wembley Stadium next year after all to hear you! :)
  8. Please, Coldplay, release a second date for the O2 Arena London, and make a rule that noone who has tickets for the Friday can buy tickets for the Saturday. Otherwise, the touts that bought Friday's tickets will just return and buy Saturday's tickets. :(
  9. I suspect they'll add a couple more UK dates on this arena tour (they've got the 6th, 7th and 10th December to play with), then add a stadium tour for the UK in the summer.
  10. Standing tickets are much more democratic! There are lots of seated tickets all round the O2 Arena (for example), so those who want to sit, can sit. On the floor, everyone will stand anyway, I understand that. However, by selling reserved seated tickets in the standing area, Coldplay are unwittingly feeding a bonanza to the touts, who queue up at the venues to buy up all the tickets closest to the stage. They then resell them at treble the price, thus making more money than Coldplay or the Promoter. With GENERAL ADMISSION STANDING, at least the front stage spots fall into the hands of fans who love the band, and turn up 4 hours early, and not rich people who can pay the touts 150 pounds per ticket! Touts never are able to mark up general admission standing tickets in the same way, because rich folks don't have the dedication to stand in line early, and would rather just pay an extra hundred to get to the front. Coldplay obviously are democrats, and love their fans, which is why the tickets are not 75 pounds, like for the greedy Spice Girls, or 160 pounds, like for greedy Madonna, but it seems that unwittingly, they have played into the hands of the touts and the wealthy this time. I am sad. :(
