  1. Show was brilliant last night! The last time I was ever this close to the band was for their Jimmy Kimmel appearance and I never thought I'd be able to be that close again! I was on the right side in that middle pit. And that was some ordeal with the entrances and running down the steps to get to the field. Anyway, I got some videos I've uploaded to Youtube already: Lovers in Japan: [ame= ] [/ame] (The sound's not so great in this one and my hand gets kinda shaky at some points..) Death and All of His Friends: [ame= ] [/ame] The Scientist: [ame= ] [/ame]
  2. Ok, nevermind about that! I got the answer straight from the bassist of the band and We Are Scientists is NOT supporting Coldplay on this tour. (It would've been awesome though if it did happen.)
  3. Have the support acts been announced for this tour? I've seen on last.fm that We Are Scientists were listed as a support act for a few dates and the only source listed for that was Wikipedia which isn't the best thing to rely on...
  4. Best I was able to find was in section 413, Row B. I sat in the first row in the 400s section last time I saw Coldplay here and there's no way I'm gonna pay $97.50+ for these seats! All these 400 section seats should be $50. I hope tomorrow's better! I'd like to at least be somewhere close in the 200s.
  5. OMG, ditto. I will be very very very very jealous if the next city were to get that! But hearing Green Eyes was so lovely. I think the crowd at this show was better than the Forum show I went to (the one on the 15th). I was on the floor this time around, and kinda further back but the crowd seemed like they were really into everything, including the new stuff too. The crowd singing "whoooa ohhhh ohhh ohhh" after Viva La Vida was done was awesome to hear and be a part of. I hope I don't have to wait too long to see the band again! I saw that Anaheim date on that tour t-shirt and I'm so curious about when that's supposed to be.
  6. I can see where you're coming from and I agree that they could've added older songs in their setlist too. I still had an amazing time at the show anyway. And mentioning $85 for 90 minutes...darn, when you put it that way it does make me think. I think I paid around $30 or $40 last year to see Muse in the same venue last year, and as any other Muse fan here might know- they always put on epic shows and it was definitely more than 90 minutes. Big difference between them and Coldplay though is that Coldplay's more popular here and can charge whatever the hell they want. I think Coldplay will always be one of those bands now where you expect to pay over $60 bucks to see them live. I know that won't stop me from buying tickets to their shows anyway- I go broke for my favorite bands all the time :D (And if you think $85 was a lot- Madonna charged around $130, I think, for tickets to her show in the Forum in 2004, and she played for an hour and this was without an opening act too.)
  7. Loge 24, Row G, four rows away from the stage and parallel to Guy. :D
  8. Eek, sorry to read about that! I hate the NBC staff at the Tonight Show, they're all assholes. I used to go there years ago when I was younger and unemployed and I'd wait there in the early morning with my friends too (and these were for shows where the band would only do ONE song.) One time a group behind us complained to NBC staff that some of my friends and I took turns in taking trips to a bathroom across the street and we got moved from our front of the line spots! Going to Jimmy Kimmel's outdoor shows is so much better.
  9. Hey, weird coincidence- I, too, went to the L.A. show last night, I'm going to the Vegas show, AND I have a Lumix camera (which I'm definitely sneaking in). :D Don't worry about going to the show alone, you'll still have fun! I go to shows by myself from time to time here in L.A. because not all my friends have the same taste in music like I do, and I like going to a lot of shows.
  10. That was such an outstanding show last night! I had so much fun. I was sitting in Loge 24, Row G, which was parallel to the stage and only four rows away from it so I had an excellent view of the gorgeous Mr. Berryman. :D I thought it was awesome that most of the setlist was comprised of the new album's tracks. While I do wish I could see "Everything's Not Lost" or "Warning Sign" played live again one of these days, I was realy pleased to hear all my favorites off the new album played. I was kinda surprised "Viva La Vida" was played so early, it seems like it would be a better song to play towards the end. I also thought Will's solo part was lovely. It was nice to see most of the floor standing up the whole time- even though my section was close to the stage, the people in front of me seemed like they were VIPs or just had freebie tickets because they sat down every chance they could. And I had constant talkers sitting next to me and behind me...grrrrr. Oh and in addition to the list of celebs last night, I saw Blake Sennett from Rilo Kiley and The Elected walking around (Unfortunately I didn't see if he had Winona Ryder with him.) I've got one video uploaded so far and it's a clip of my favorite part of "42": http://www.vimeo.com/1351254 I still have "The Scientist" and bits of other songs to upload later. I can't wait for the Vegas show this weekend!
  11. I've got an extra pair of Vegas tickets in section 110, row EE. If anyone's interested, please IM me! I've been trying to sell it on Craigslist and I don't want to have to go to Ebay to sell this. I'd rather sell this in a fair way to a fan and I'm willing to decrease the price a bit just to get rid of these tickets. I found a better pair a couple days later so that's why I'm selling this pair. (Forget it, tickets have been sold!) I have a room booked at the MGM Grand and I'm tempted to switch to the Imperial Palace just so I can get a cheaper rate. The MGM Grand room I got for $179 a night (go to Smartervegas.com and find hotel promotion codes there, I forgot which one I used, but it worked). I'm thinking I might get there a day early too. I'll definitely be hitting up the bars and etc. that weekend :)
  12. The Best Buy pre-sale page shows the Chicago show is on July 23 now. It sucks, I was gonna try to go to this show since it was conveniently a day after Lollapalooza. There's no way now for me to stay in Chicago that early for that show. :(
  13. I think it's interesting you say that- I think pre-sales HELP true fans because it's usually the die-hard fans that know when and where these pre-sales are going on. With getting tickets through Ticketmaster, it really is the luck of the draw with getting good seats. While a lot of people here have been screwed with getting good seats to this show so far, I still think these 2 pre-sales were better than the first U.S. leg of the Twisted Logic tour with that lottery system. Anyway, if things still don't work out tomorrow for anyone here, keep looking- especially towards the day of the show when tickets are often released back into the system.
  14. Yeah, I'm tempted to buy a ticket to this show too. If I can get floor tickets, I'll definitely go.
