ticket drop!!!! i just picked up 2 pairs of seats directly against the b stage! reg face value those were the best that dropped, but they still have some decent ones available, go check it out !! still available as of now (close to midnight eastern, aug 4th) : that long string of seats 3 rows back from front of b stage looks good! getting very excited!!!!!

hahahaha omg yes! we were right near you. she was next to us and that was our poster she peed on! so insane! all night she was talking off the ear of whoever was next to her about how she's their assistant... "did you know they stay in a a house in the hamptons when theyre here... do you know where his kids are? tehyre downstairs.. they never miss a show... thats his personal photographer ... " and best one , "im gonna take you backstage with me after the concert" lolllll anyway the night was beyond incredible and we definitely had a great group up front and center giving back all the energy the band was giving us! here's my back to the future video.. i couldnt get a good video of any of the coldplay songs cause i was too busy singing jumping screaming etc

I was just on the phone with ticketmaster for like 45 minutes because I had a seat closer to one of the outer smaller stages before they changed the seating chart... they eventually told me that they called metlife and metlife told them they will be accommodating those who had seats near the 2 little stages by moving them closer to where the actual stage/runway is now. We'll see! have fun everyone!

hey guys sorry to bump a very old thread. i just pulled out live 2012 on a rainy saturday and it's bringing back great memories. cannot wait for this summer's tour!! the question i had though, can't seem to find the answer in here.. did the band ever actually address the grainy, poor quality of the film? i am assuming it must have been intentional, but just wondering if it was ever talked about or the intent behind it explained by anyone in or related to the band. I remember returning the DVD the day after Christmas when I got it, thinking it was defective! haha. Thanks & have a great day :)

i dont come on here a lot and have never even heard of the these oldplay, goldplay, newplay??... terms. So as a relative outsider I am kind of in shock to come back on this forum and hear that there are actually (many!!!) people who are in agreement that coldplay's latest releases have been on par with the quality and ingenuity of their earlier music up to Viva. This barely even seems subjective. I live for new Coldplay music and like someone in here nicely put, every release is another chance, I am always so hopeful ... but the bright spots have been so few and far between from Mylo on, and it is really very sad. I came in this thread in particular because after 2 listens to the album, I'm hearing Everglow having some potential in it but still is just lacking in so many ways. Whoever said it sounds like a generic Shania Twain song, thanks for making me laugh and cry at the same time. Too true. And to think this is the one that stands out to me on the whole album! I would have called you a liar if you played this music for me during the rush of blood era, and told me it was coldplay! I'll still keep listening though, and of course can't wait for the tour next year. The Coldplay experience is still one of the most amazing things, and that's exactly what makes it such a shame .... maybe next album!!

Wow, this is awesome. I don't post much on here either but this moved me to reply! Your version sounds better than Coldplay's version. Wow. It reminds me of the "old" Coldplay. Simple, raw, beautiful... not corny, or taking it too far trying to be something it is not. You brought out all the great parts buried deep in the song somewhere and subtracted the unnecessary. Any chance they can get you to work on their next album!? haha. Or at least clean up of their newer stuff for upcoming live performances.... :) Awesome job.

this was one of the best cp shows ive been too!!!! the crowd was on FIRE! so loud, i thought. best part of the night was we made neon signs w/ some charlie brown lyrics on them and at the end of hte song chris said .. "we see your posters, thank you!" best moment ever! everyone around us started high fiving us!

amazing show last night as always. it was our 5th and final show of the tour so it was sad but we went out with a bang. it was actually also almost 4 years to the date of seeing the unforgettable x&y tour right there in mansfield and practically from the same exact spot we were standing last night. great memories anyway what can i say about the show, it was perfect, im sure everyones gone over the details already. we were lucky enough to get a guitar pick this time, and touch johnny!!!! :shocked2: also got guys setlist after the show! here are some of my pics and 1 video- i have more video im working on uploading too. sorry that im not a very good video-taker :embarassed: [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6WOxWleEtWk]YouTube - In My Place Mansfield[/ame]

craaaazy amazingness. soo good! i dont know about this heavy rain theyre talking about though cause it was a beautiful night and did not rain at all. we were right up front in the pit and even got a drumstick after lost! incredible show. i will post pics and vids later today at some point

RESCHEDULED!!!!! CANT WAIT!! sucks about jones beach but this will be great. so excited. We're pleased to confirm that Coldplay's scheduled show at the Saratoga Performing Arts Center in Saratoga Springs, New York on May 27th -which was postponed because of illness - has now been rescheduled for July 27th. However, in order to reschedule the Saratoga Springs concert, the Jones Beach show announced earlier this week will unfortunately not now take place. Tickets for the original Saratoga Performing Arts Center date on May 27th will be valid at the rescheduled date on July 27th, with refunds available from point of purchase. Some tickets for the Saratoga Springs show will also be available at http://www.livenation.com. Tickets for the Jones Beach show never went on sale. For anyone looking for another alternative show nearby, Coldplay are also playing at All Points West festival in New Jersey on August 2nd. We're really sorry for any inconvenience this causes.
