  1. JD i personally think you made a VERY WISE decision about not taking pics of Chris's house. That would've just taken the entire stalking thing a bit too far. Finding the bakery, where all the creativity and dynamics took place is just sooo cool. I was getting a little worried about you tho, thinking mayb you'd been kidnapped, whilst stalking out his hse!!
  2. i'm gonna say NIA too, for the beautiful brindley place round the corner and for walking alongside the canal boats. its very accessible to broad st too. Hope to see you there Bebop! I'm going on 1st Dec too. :)
  3. YEAH I SAW U ON TVVVV!! thank god there are ppl like you that show how its done! u guys in ur white ties ooze enthusiasms and its contagious. i was bopping about at home. :smug:
  4. Oh Kash, such gr8 photos. You and Jay Z wearing the same specs. How cool is that??/ I watched it back last night (I have skyplus) if anyone knows a way that I can record it onto a CD or something then please let me know. Maybe i can connect my laptop to the TV somehow? I'm not the technical expert, as you can tell, but if guided then I'm sure i can sort something out.
  5. definitely go, i've been told that the BBC staff will have your names and reference no. on the door. If you have the confirmation email and the reference no. you shouldn't have a problem. Hope you have a gr8 time.
  6. From my rather amusing colleague from work, who just sent this in to me (she's a big Bruce Springsteen fan:embarassed:) "Your gig got 4* in the Guardian today although it did say that it was marred by a 30-something groupie dribbling at the front...." She will be referring to me, not that i was dribbling tho..haha
  7. Yes, last night was a mesmerising experience i shall never forget. Not only did i get a front row view of the performance (you can see me, well kind of, standing next to Crazybuckette on the radio 1 web pics) but i met some amazing fans in the q. I must've missed you politik, but had I met you, I would've said the same! :D I could've argued my case with the BBC, but I was on such a high from last night, that I let it go quite easily and I just hope that for all of you that are going tomorrow night, come away with the most overwhelming of feelings to have seen them in the most intimate of performances you'll EVER get to see. Enjoy folks!! And yes, after last night, I can't wait for front row, middle block centre stage on the first night at the NIA in Dec. My son is going to wear a imitation of the Viva La Vida black jacket with coloured armbands. he's gonna look soooo cool!!:)
  8. hmmm..guranteed entry means just that, so i'm assuming they may have 2 seperate queues? not sure, but i think ur brother can only get in if there are any places left. i'm really miffed, because my reference no. was 101, and i didn't get allocated any tickets :cry:
  9. and I heard of someone who arrived with no tickets and managed to get into the show AND i saw them get right to the front too. Don't ask me how? I have no idea!! Tho, I think its called blagging ther way in??
  10. Beth, prob best to phone the BBC first thing this morning. I'm sure they'll sort it. I didn't get tix, but i'm going to venture across in the hope i get to see the band. Can fans access the backstage door? As in just to stand outside, not to actually gain access?? hope that makes sense
  11. Oh Steve, i wished you'd came and said hello! thanks for the detailed account. When i arrived and asked people whether they were from the Coldplay forum (just realised, that sounds as if we live here!!!) they all said no :( so i was a little disappointed. Then we went across the road for lunch and who do i pass as I'm crossing the road?? Guy Berryman!!!!!!!!! and i'm like "Hey Guy, looking forward to tonight", and then I regret not stopping him for a pic, but the beefy security guy looked scary!! AND THEN...as i'm waiting by the backstage door, i noticed a figure walking from the top, with a green hat and because of the T-shirt he's wearing i know straightaway that's its Chris. We were asked not to run up to him, but he was happy to stand and take pics with us, which was awesome. Its not the most flattering pic of me tho, so i don't like it, but Chris looks gr8. he has such piercing blue eyes.
  12. Thanks crazyduckette, it was lovely to meet you too and thanks for being such great company last night. We didn't get back until 1am and fortunately i'm working from home this today, so i'm taking things very slow. I'm still on a complete high from last night. I'm going to listen back to the radio 1 show tonight with my little boy and then I'll have to break it to him gently that I was there with them and show him the pics! Well done on getting Jonny's setlist. that's prob made u year!
  13. the morning after the night before....what an amazing performance! Loved every second of every performance and the set list was spot on, incl. Girls aloud's 'Call the shots now'. At that moment me and Kara looked at each other and the expressions on both of our faces was priceless. I think we were expecting some surprises or stunts and the balcony acoustic performance of yellow just topped off what was an inspring night. Just incredibly mind blowing. That's me next to Kara, altho my arms are obscuring my face. Got a chance to say hello to Chris and have my pic taken with him! who hoooo!
  14. Hey Pete, don't be so downbeat. I'll hopefully be one of the first to arrive, so will do the friendly bantering with others, in the hope that I can find a spare ticket for you. I'm finding it really difficult to hide my excitement and actually feeling a little apprenhensive, which is normal I think?
