Oh Brother - Yeah - I was expecting that on this board.... I love Coldplay - just as much as the next. And that person who said they were bigger than U2 - sorry, I was just also stating my opinion that they were WRONG! Sorry IMO, that's like saying Bush was/is a better president that FDR

OMG!!!! Yes, Coldplay are very popular here in the US...however, I have to totally disagree with them even being placed in the same sentence as U2. The only reason why Coldplay may be more popular today with the "younger crowd" is that they have had 2 albums out in the last 3 years and U2, well they are still working on their 15th!!!! I don't want to start getting hate mail or nasty comments, I am a Coldplay fan, however, if you have gone to a U2 concert, then have gone to a few Coldplay concerts....well you will see some similiarites (not saying that anyone is copying anyone here). But come on people, think overall band...not just what is playing on the local radio channel today. Sorry - yes I am a U2 Fan, have been since 1982. However I am a Coldplay fan too - just can put them on the same page...not yet at least!

Ok, so 300 level may not be row 1, of section 2......however IMHO, I think they are better than section 4, 5, 6 - at least you can see???!!!

Parking will be different, as the Cirque de Soleil (sp) is performing under their "big top" in the parking lot. And they have a show at 8:00 ( show is 2 hrs 40 minutes)...so you can imagine what that will be like!!!!! I am sure traffic in and out will be HELL. I am not looking forward to that :)

Yes, there are seats on the floor at the UC in Chicago.- and there are 6 different sections. The farther back you get, it becomes difficult to see the stage and the closer you are to the mixing boards. During the presale, I did get section 6, however, since I want see the Band, I did keep trying and actually got section 101, row 10. These are similar to where I sat last time and are pretty good (even though you get a neck pain at the end of the night!).

I too am a newbie....not to Colplay, but this site (LOL). I tried the presale and got floor seats, but decided that Section 6 wasnt for me...I want to see the Band. So, I tried again and actually got section 101, row 10. Now, I find out that my husband has a golf outing that day, and my other coldplay buddy is on vacation! So, I may have to sell - boohoo! Anyway, just wanted to share....that there was a success story there somewhere.
