31-Jul-08: Air Canada Centre, Toronto - Tickets, Preview, Meetups, Review/Photos
Setlist was Life In Technicolor" "Violet Hill" "Clocks" "In My Place" "Viva La Vida" "Yes" "42" "Fix You" "Strawberry Swing" "God Put A Smile Upon Your Face" "Speed Of Sound" "Yellow" "Lost!" "The Scientist" "Death Will Never Conquer" "Politik" "Lovers In Japan" "Death And All His Friends/Escapist" And Chris played "The Hardest Part" twice...one somewhere near the beginning but stopped after having messed up...and then continued the second half later on in the show. This was done on purpose I assume?

Great show tonight, but why so stingy? No encore! I've never in my life been to a concert where there was no encore. We all waited a good 10 minutes after Death and All of His Friends, screaming and chanting for them to come back out. I wonder what happened? Just before the last song, Chris announced it was Will's birthday so he made us all sing Happy Birthday and brought out a small cake. But all that didn't take more then 3 minutes or so....

30-Jul-08: Toronto - Tickets, Preview, Meetups, Review/Photos [originally 29/30 Oct]
Quick question for those at tonight's show....was there an opening act? Did the show start at 7:30 sharp or did it take a while? Thanks!

Chris, Guy, Jonny Interview for Alpha
I'm LOVING the fact that Lost! is being considered as a single. It'd do so well I think.

Coldplay first week US sales projections- 700K!
http://www.hitsdailydouble.com/news/newsPage.cgi?news07135m01 Somewhere in London, EMI’s Guy Hands is breathing a sigh of relief. That’s because Capitol Music Group’s Coldplay will debut at #1 on the HITS Album Sales chart next week with their latest, Viva La Vida, thanks to record-breaking sales at iTunes, with a total that should be between 650-700k, and possibly even higher. The band’s one-day download total at the House that Jobs Built soared past Jack Johnson’s previous one-week high of 140k. Insiders are saying the final number should shatter pre-release predictions of 200k.
