What is your favourite Coldplay song today?
I'm not long up (I won't tell if you don't) and I instantly started singing, I Touch myself by Blondie. Anyway now that I'm fully awake and in this forum I'm fully loving Till Kingdom Come.... "In your tears and in your blood In your fire and in your flood I hear you laugh, I heard you sing I wouldn’t change a single thing" Ye canny whack it on this glorious Sunday afternoon.

What is your favourite Coldplay song today?
Well it was, Speed of Sound yesterday (love the whole exploration/discovery feel to this song, very fresh and exciting) sorry not on yesterday. Okay, today it's Death and all his friends, the two part theme running throughout this album is captured to perfection in this song. After the gentle and deeply romantic beginning, It feels as if the coals are being added to a locomotive taking us on a new journey and to the height of desire (or the character's fire) with, "No I don't wanna battle from beginning to end..." No idea what tomorrow will bring :)

Is this what i think it is? :(
Oh sorry, I forgot to answer your question or should I say put in my tuppence worth? Let me see, I think it's only fitting to use lyrics to describe how I feel about this one. Therefore without further ado, "no no, no no no no, no no no no, no no theres no limit!" By 2 Unlimited :)

Is this what i think it is? :(
This is from the radio interview they did recently, right? I didn't hear the interview but read the above the other day in some web news thing and it made me laugh.... 'Whooosh!' 'Where've they gone?' Just like Keyser Söze." Do you think when Chris left the radio studio he twisted his hand, changed his walk, put on some shades and lit up a cig? :laugh3:

BBC Love to Hate Coldplay?
The way I see it is like this, music is personal and it is as personal to me as say religion is to others. If we tack just one meaning to a beautiful piece of music, it is in danger of losing its true meaning and feeling. I love the feelings this album invokes and where my emotions take me. From there I can almost smell the air, feel the passion and touch the story. My meaning comes purely from my feelings, so therefore I'm in favour of dumping all the political nonsense as I feel the true essence of the album will be lost! :)

BBC Love to Hate Coldplay?
Sorry too many n'ts in there, basically I don't see the 18th revolutionary France connection :)

BBC Love to Hate Coldplay?
I've been reading everyone's comments and I'm really tempted to say, yeah down with Coldplay - they're rubbish! - just to mix it up, you know? Sorry that's a bit of my devilish streak showing, not to cause any sort of harm or offence (splintered), you understand. But as I happen to absolutely adore Coldplay I couldn't bring myself to so it. What I will say and this may be a bit boring but I don't think their latest album isn't about 18th century revolutionary France at all. I was laughing when the critics were discussing the album in those terms, I just thought, jeez you don't get it. But I see some have bought into that here and wonder, Am I missing something?
