right, but when theres no measurable sonic evolution between your first three albums save for a few synthesizers, this point becomes valid. the point about the lyrics i won't even begin to contest, because alex turner is simply far and away a better lyricist than chris martin, and if you want to contest it the songs speak for themselves this being said, i suppose we are on a coldplay forum in all fairness, so i'll drop it :) my point: if you need music while waiting for MX, you will likely not be disappointed if you check out arctic monkeys

i see it, but it a) has loads to do with eno basically being a member now, and b) its nowhere on the same level as the monkeys

its funny actually cause a few weeks ago i was defending coldplay on an AM forum, here is my post from there: i stand behind everything i said, but of course its opinion matter

true, but a lot of these are accounted for in some other way, or have a billion writers which chris is only one of. homecoming is the kanye song chris is on, and clocks relojes is some kind of spanish version of clocks, so on and so forth

to me, it makes sense that they're calling the song "MX" at the moment. if mylo xyloto is the title of the record, they may wanna keep it under wraps for now.

ALL of those songs have the writers listed as: BERRYMAN GUY RUPERT BUCKLAND JONATHAN MARK CHAMPION WILLIAM ENO BRIAN PETER GEORGE MARTIN CHRISTOPHER ANTHONY JOH this explains the reason behind ETIAW with its sample and UWTB not showing up on the main list, so we'll ignore those for now. let's look at other songs with those five writers?
