  1. DURAN! Come down and let's go tomorrow!
  2. During the song Yellow, an entire section of the crowd were holding up yellow glow sticks :) It was an awesome execution! I wish I would have been all the way at the bottom to see the effect though...
  3. That is amazing! Next time they're around and you go to the concert and plan on doing something, let me know if you need any help! I would love to be a part of helping out with something like that. I've always wanted to get involved and do something like this to get the audience involved :)
  4. That was awesome and I was just waiting for Chris martin to say something about it, then he did! Were you the only one involved with this and how many glow sticks did you pass out? It looked awesome!
  5. HEYYY I see you two have met, erick and duran! lol.... :) I was suppose to volunteer tomorrow but Soha said they overbooked and since I've been to like 4 already this tour, someone else gets to have my spot :) I'm planning to still buy a ticket though! Hopefully I can still try to get one. My seats weren't that bad for the two nights I went...I got promenade 3, sections N for night one and section M for night two. So good luck to y'all!
  6. I'm still looking for it too! I'm shocked there aren't any of it posted on youtube...the same for the iHeartRadio from the Vegas show from last year :(
  7. You mean new songs that aren't on the MX album? Cos they did a lot of songs off that album actually :D
  8. Fantastic review and it was nice to meet you! Not sure if you remember me...we talked briefly about your dog and some shows you're going to up north and etc. :)
  9. Yeah that show in August of last year was actually a full setlist...it was amazing! And for Jimmy Kimmel the bands usually do quite a number of songs but only one is aired and they'll usually put another song on the website. It's the say for Jay Leno except on Jay Leno they really only perform two vs. Kimmel where they play more. I love the Kimmel Outdoor Concert experience!
  10. All I have to say is, bring an umbrella. I've been to a taping where it was raining before...you still have to wait outside in the rain and watch the performance in the rain -_- For me, it wasn't that bad it was a drizzle but I hope it isn't that bad this Tuesday either. There's no coverage too where we are waiting :(
  11. I'm hoping to arrive between 10am-noon...and yelp the earlier the better :) What about you?
  12. From what I remember, they usually arrive around that time. Some arrive earlier and some people have done longer rehearsals than others. Some artists have also only done rehearsals for about 30 minutes...I've seen some bands do rehearsals for over an hour. I've arrived as early as 6am in the morning and as late as 12pm and still end up around front row. But either way, it's a small outdoor area and no matter where you are, it'll be great :)
  13. I've been to at least 7 of these tapings and there is no way to bring in anything other than a cell phone, they pass you through a metal detector/body scan. What time do you plan on arriving? We're able to listen/watch the band rehears from the waiting line :) It's also right next to the parking lot where they enter/exit...I'm so excited!
  14. Does anyone plan on bringing any posters/banners?
  15. They're still taking requests on that website until Jan 31st, give it a try. Seeing how lucky you've been in the past, you just might get accepted! :)
  16. I take it back, I just looked it up and it said "Alas, tickets to the annual Grammy Awards show are not available to the general public; it's "by invitation only" to nominees, recording artists, & record company execs." I guess I got lucky when that lady gave me her ticket...no wonder it looked so fancy and nice! Here's a picture of how it looks (my boyfriend holding his ticket) Ticket to the American Music Awards, however are available for purchase which I have done so in the past...they were $100 for balcony seats at the Shrine Auditorium.
  17. All the italicized are the events I plan/hope to attend. As of right now, I'm on a waiting list for the Grammy tickets which I applied for through seatfillersandmore...I've done a lot of events with them, so crossing my fingers! Last year my boyfriend was accepted to go to the event :D But also, they sell tickets for the Grammy's too! I haven't done research on how much they are but I believe they're sold in packages. A few years ago, I got lucky and while watching the red carpet arrivals, a nice lady who had to leave gave me her ticket to the show :)
  18. Does anyone else plan to try to attend the Jimmy Kimmel outdoor performance taping for Coldplay?
  19. I had e-mailed them about the show too, and this is the response I got: Thank you for your inquiry. You will directed to the appropriate line upon arrival and then directed accordingly to the venue entrance once you have obtained your tickets. Will Call will open early on that day but we do not have a specific time as of yet. This will be decided on the day of the event. See you at the show!
  20. YES! Got General Admission Floor seats with these :) Not the PIT but I'm okay with that...wooo hoooo! I got 2 tickets!!! Not sure who I'll be taking but we'll see :D
  21. E-mailed 1iota today to find out if there are tickets available the day of the show, they said there would be a stand-by line...but instead of just going to the mini-outdoor concert with Coldplay, you would have to go into the studio to watch the show, then line up behind the crowd outdoor to watch the show after...which isn't that bad still. I am waiting for the info for the Stand-by line and will update you guys when I find out.
