  1. You're welcome! :nice: I realized when I found the link that I was missing one, myself! I have more copies of In My Place now than are really warranted. 14! 14 IMPs! I've been so busy for so long, but now I'm done with both my freelance work and NaNoWrimo. I guess maybe I'll be hanging out here more often. ;)
  2. It's probably in the multimedia forum somewhere. Lemme look. ;) :uhoh: :D edit: Wow, CP sounds good after a long break. :nice: It's good to be back!
  3. From the radio recording in Munich. :) The concert was recorded for Absolute Radio in England and some nice person recorded it. ;) I love it because of the techno remix of GPASUYF/Talk.
  4. YAY!!! I just finished NaNoWriMo, and the first thing I did was turn off the movie scores library I've been listening to all month and put Coldplay on shuffle! Celebratory live version of Cemeteries of London came up first. :nice: Singin' la la la la laaay
  5. Tomorrow is the last night of NaNoWriMo! I've been listening to nothing but movie scores all month. Looking forward to getting back to my normal Coldplay-heavy limestone-rock mix starting Tuesday. ;)
  6. You are completely right. My first thought was "It's gonna be a good day." Unfortunately I'm a long way from home still, but my family's going to call me in an hour or so to pass the phone around. :nice:
  7. A couple minutes ago my 10 am radio alarm went off and this was the very first thing I heard... "... and the bassist for Coldplay Guy Berryman is teaming up with one of the guys from A-Ha for a side project. I'd tell you the name of the album but I uh.. can't pronounce it. So here's Viva La Vida!" "I used to rule the world..." So awesome.
  8. So I'm working on this health book, and one of the illustrations needs to show a man skipping for exercise, so I go to google images and type in a few things, finally I try "skipping man," where on page 5 I see this: and think, "wait, what did I just type in?" :uhoh: The blog made me mad though because this is what she said: "Coldplay…uh, okay there a butterflies falling from the sky and a grown man is skipping around on stage. No. And also, that song had NO melody whatsoever. Next." No taste. I don't even feel bad about hotlinking that image. Also I think you meant "there are butterflies." :p
  9. OM NOM NOM!!! :D
  10. I want THIS!
  11. You can still share your greatest Random Coldplay Thought of all time, though. :nice: vvv Ninja edit, Lhuna. I saw that!!! ;) teehee
  12. Ack I almost missed page 1000! :o I need to think of my greatest Coldplay thought of all time. I think it was probably at my very first concert when, after a couple songs, it finally hit me that I was looking at Coldplay! I was in the same (albeit gigantic) room with Coldplay! My other Coldplay thought is a small one but one I have a lot and it is this: "Man... In My Place is a great song!" edit: Check it out: Post 15,000 in this thread. Do I win? :D
  13. It was awesome!! I was afraid there would be spiders but there weren't. It was kinda like sleeping in a coffin but I like cozy places. And the lake it was on was so still, I never felt any motion until the next morning when the houseboats would start going by. And it had a little reading light inside and a sink to brush my teeth. I really fell in love with it. :nice: My dad taught me some basic sailing, too and I got to use the rudder! Here I am "clinging to the mast." ;)
  14. I like your signature picture, Nick. Reminds me of where my parents made me sleep last time I visited. (In their sailboat...)
  15. Oooh that's the shiniest katydid I've ever seen! :o
  16. I like that idea a lot! :D Your GREATEST EVER Coldplay thought! It's perfect! (edit: doesn't have to be something you previously posted in the thread. Just think back to a good CP memory. :nice:)
  17. I wrote a really sad scene in my book and I still feel sad. :( Really sad.
  18. I can give the LRLRL game another try but not until December. Nanowrimo is keeping me too busy to mess with Flash right now. But I have fifty ten-second song clips all ready to go. Just need to figure out how to embed them in the flash file which is the more difficult task that I just can't figure out. :\ If I still can't figure it out, I'll just post the song clips and make everyone guess them in the game thread. ;) edit: PIIIIIIICKLEEEEEE!!
  19. Guys, guys! We should do something special for page 1,000. :nice:
  20. Agreed. Well maybe a close 2nd to Guy running up the stairs with the light pen behind him. :nice:
  21. Today I was running late for work (It's Friday, gimme a break ;)) and for some reason, just as I was opening the door to hustle on outa there, I stopped and said "I need to listen to In My Place on my way to work! :o" So I turned around, went back to my Wall of Coldplay, found the RoBttH CD, grabbed the rest of my stuff, turned the car on, put in the CD, found In My Place, and only then did I pull out of the driveway. I listened to it twice on the way there and sang along with enthusiasm! I still don't know WTF compelled me on this particular day. ;) But it was interesting. (edit: non-CP related, but Snow Patrol's Lightning Strike is my absolute favorite driving-home song. With all three parts it is the perfect length for my commute and I'm always happy and energized when I get there. :nice:)
  22. "Puppets are scary. I think I'll have to watch this tomorrow when the sun is out." (it actually took me a couple days to work up the nerve... puppets...ughh *shudder*... but I'm used to the Coldplay puppets now and they don't scare me at all :nice:)
  23. Well I'd better go do my writing for the night. Bye! :)
