I was at a party last night and the host set up his laptop to play some music on Rhapsody, and asked for a music suggestion to start off the playlist. Nobody spoke, and he looked at me and I just went :D and he said "Coldplay it is, then!" :lol:

Whew, just barely got that in there. My birthday was full of cake and Coldplay. :) My friend invited me over to her house for pizza and when I got there she had her stereo playing nothing but a shuffle of Coldplay! :D And when The Hardest Part came on we talked about how cool the piano version of it was at the concert anda then she helped me figure out that I was only 4 degrees away from Chris Martin! :dance: Then we ate cake and it was delicious and moist: no lie! Oh, man, this is so exciting but there is hardly any time! I'm so super busy at work, and I have NaNoWriMo to deal with all month. I would have wanted to create something new for this! Oh well... My friend just told me he bought a piano so i asked what kind and he said "Yamaha :D" and I said "OMG Chris Martin plays a Yamaha :dance:" and he said "Who's that?" :\ But then he said that a lot of rock people play Yamaha! :nice: (i.e. once he realized I was talking about Coldplay he thinks they 'rock' ;))

OMG yay! :dance: Novah Novah (yes indeed! Here is my page: http://www.nanowrimo.org/eng/user/440887) I am getting so excited I can hardly stand it, but I'm also terrified. ;) This year I'm writing a near-future post-apocalyptic 'fantasy' of sorts based roughly on the Monomyth but with a crazy twist at the end. Working title is Deus Ex Machina, which, if you know what that means, gives away the ending, but that's okay! (really!) It's largely experimental. I'm considering Nano 2009 to be a 'practice novel' of sorts but if it turns out okay I'm going to finish the illustrations for it (2 done already) and publish it to my website. :dance: weeeee
