  1. Two days my friends! I will be there volunteering with Oxfam. Please sign up! =)
  2. I am not 100% sure yet, but I may be able to sell 2 different tickets (both covered reserve) for this show. I am super excited about this show too... July 22 isn't too far away now!
  3. I will be attending this show in addition to the Houston show! I'm very excited!
  4. Hey Mike no ignorance at all! An upgrade is when some lucky fans receive tickets to better seats. For example, people in the nosebleeds were given front row tickets at the group's last Houston stop. Usually they require the lucky receivers to sing their favorite Coldplay song or similar trivia. A roadie is part of "the road crew (or roadies) are the technicians who travel with a band on tour, usually in sleeper buses, and handle every part of the concert " according to Wiki. They basically do everything and make sure everything goes smoothly. And it's not July. Haha!
  5. Being in the covered section (generally) beats being in lawn, despite the higher prices we have to pay. I'm doubting that the roadies will be going into reserved seats, they'd probably venture into the lawn. Hopefully I'm wrong. I'm wondering if I need to dress up (in Coldplay attire) to catch their attention... Hah.
  6. ^ It's general admission/SRO for Pit so there isn't really 'front row' tickets persay. No idea how you can get those!
  7. ^ sorry to hear that mrman78! Yeah, it sucks. An interesting though, after several searches with other ticket agencies (stubhub, stubhsearch, etc) I am not finding any pit tickets! I'm surprised. Maybe they'll be released later? Have they been sold? I don't know... I hope you guys all got tickets that will be satisfactory. Just remember though, if you were able to get tickets, you HAVE tickets to see one of the greatest bands in the world!!
  8. ^ Yeah, pre-sale (imho) was somewhat better. Keep trying guys, you can get relatively good seats! Haha, anyone notice the "FULL PRICKE TICKET " that are for sale? Hmm...
  9. I am getting reserved right now. Don't give it the option to give you lawn, go 97.50 or the next one down, just not lawn (35) BTW, I *hate* the security check words. Seriously!
  10. So I'm just browsing for tickets during this general sale, and I'm pretty much getting the same thing. I'd like to get Pit, since it's general admission/SRO, but I am not finding any. Anyone here get any?
  11. I don't know what radio station had a presale. :-\ So now that I have my tickets, now it's just the not dying before the concert part I have to take care of. July!!!
  12. So I got a single ticket Section 103 row DD. ^ Pretty solid, you're not super close but you're not far. You're on stage right, so you'll see Guy rocking out.
  13. I'm very sad we can't get at least the back rows of Sec 101-103. I really wish we could. I settled for mine. :(
  14. Yes, this does suck. My first try gave me Sec 107 Row C. :( Dang! It's almost $50 in "convenience charges." WTF?
  15. I have found that Ticketmaster is selling the tickets (in addition to LiveNation.) I really hate this, why must this be so confusing? Are there really multiple presale passwords? I have a TicketRush presale password, but I am now not confident it's right. And I didn't know there was a radio one as well (as seen on LiveNation) And why are there tickets already out on sale at different ticketing agencies? And for outrageous ($700 for ROW AA, WTF?) Why can't it be just as easy as last time, where simple being ready and on time gives you what you deserve, not tickets 'behind those we saved to get more money for.' Ugh. [/rant] ETA: I think TicketRush is no longer working because the Pre-Sale for several of the other concerts is over, though I'm not sure why. Don't take this as Gospel.
  16. So okay guys. What all do we need to get tickets for this coming Saturday? I feel like I need a "Gameplan." I have the presale password from Ticketrush. At least I think I do. Why would they make us go to a separate site to get that? What else do we need? I'd really like to get some good tickets.
  17. I'm in! Hopefully OXFAM will have another stint with this show. ^ YES! Viva la Texas! :)
  18. I had a BRILLIANT time tonight, and I had a GREAT time volunteering with Oxfam! Got to meet some amazing people to volunteer with, and had some okay (honest not great seats, but still LOVED the show). If you saw people with Oxfam, I was one of them! Hope everyone had a GREAT show, and I hear word that Tony Parker (Eva Longoria's husband) was reportedly at the show. I had a Texas flag but it wasn't very big but I had one! Great night guys, I'm still buzzing and smiling and singing. Thanks again!
  19. Today (at 1:39AM) is the DAY! I am so freaking excited guys! See you there! I'm super tempted to try to find a Texas flag and give it to them but I'm way too late!
  20. Hey Timmy21girl, You can bring a camera, just as long as it's not a professional camera. A point-and-shoot should be fine. You can bring it in a purse or a bag or your pockets (how I roll.) The doors open at 6:30 and the show starts at 7:30, so you should aim to be there around 5-6 so you can situated in the venue, get merch, food, etc. But the good thing is that it is reserved seats for all so you're guaranteed a seat, but traffic, crowds and etc. might be a thick if you're late. Don't forget your ticket and have a safe trip! Sign up with Oxfam at the concert! :)
  21. Sleepercar will be opening with Jon Hopkins as well. I'm so ready guys! Sign up with Oxfam while you're at the show!
  22. Hey Davi017, Generally they play the same set list that they perform at the other venues. I made an iTunes playlist that matches the setlist. Coldplaying.com has a Tour section that posts the set lists from past shows. This is what I'm guessing they should be playing. They usually don't deviate from the norm but Coldplay can always surprise everyone! :D
