Right there with you! I was set for the Houston show in 2017 as well, but Harvey had other plans. I'm happy they finally came back and were able to give us a show worth dancing to. It was a blast.

Not sure if any other Houstonians remember, but this isn't the first time a hurricane made Coldplay cancel/postpone a show. I remember in 2005, Hurricane Rita came the same week as the Coldplay concert at The Woodlands Pavilion. Also, Coldplay dedicated a song to Houston in Miami during the show tonight, apparently a one-off song they're only playing once. Check out the setlist and the video of the song. I transcribed (roughly) some of the lyrics, and well, I started crying. Hope everyone on this board from H-Town are safe. Got two tickets - Section M, Row 3 ... Near the C-Stage! Map has C-Stage diagrammed out... Nothing open near the runway, but I'm fine with being on the floor and near the C-Stage for the acoustic party!

Don't knock on Philly too hard, it's a pretty fantastic city. #rocky I have a feeling they might do a second tour through the States, a smaller arena tour. At least I hope they do!

Have to say that I'm disappointed they're not playing Houston and chose Jerry World instead... but I'm excited they're playing in Texas! Hoping to catch this show.

Hi Zoeyk! Honestly, it's having some luck, a fast clicking finger, and a fast internet connection. Jump on the ball next time they come through, with presale passwords and when they go on sale. Having accounts set up and already logged in saves some time, and having everything you need (ie. credit card, information, etc.) helps too. However sometimes even with preparation, you can pull the short straw, and get a further seat. But again, really, it just takes some luck and a credit card number, and a fast clicking finger. @the_escapist, are you still looking for a hotel? Downtown, you probably won't find any cheap hotels. Most will probably run you at least $100-150, if not more. Check out expedia.com for deals on cheaper hotels in Houston! Good luck!

Judging from this layout (Verizon Center in DC), I think Houston's should be pretty similar. Assuming 1-6, translates to A-F, it appears Section B is pushed back some by the B-Stage. Shouldn't be a bad spot at all.

Hey Dallas fans! My name is James and I'm a Team Leader for one of the Oxfam volunteer groups. We are in desperate need for more volunteers for the June 26 show in Houston! This second Houston show is nearly sold out which means there will be over 17,000 people at the show! But this is where you come in! Right now we have 8 of us, including myself, and we are looking for about 10 or so more volunteers. Coldplay has had Oxfam on their tour for years, promoting projects that promote social justice and poverty issues. These volunteers canvas the crowd in efforts to raise awareness! @the_escapist There is a Greyhound line that runs from Dallas and Houston, vice versa. Check greyhound.com. Some quick checking got me $36 ticket one-way, Dallas to Houston. Check the Dallas thread and see if there is anyone road tripping to Houston from Dallas for the show as well. @Mikejpss that's awesome! What a way to celebrate the concert!

Ahhh. I was really disappointed with the seats I got, but I figure with the B/X-Stage they shouldn't be so bad. I'd have an elevated view of the extended stage! Sec 113, Row 16. Anyone near me? They were $20 less than the $99, so I figured I'd save a little bit of money with these. Was looking for a pair, had the hardest time getting anything on the floor. I wonder how many seats were lost to the X-Stage? I figure that's why it was even harder for non-VIP to get those. Ahh shucks. It will be a solid show, either way, anywhere! Hoping to volunteer with Oxfam again as well.

Love this! I haven't posted here at Coldplaying in a while. I went to Madrid for 3 weeks in August, and I visted Las Ventas while I was there, it's an incredible place. 3 weeks later, I saw Coldplay live at Austin City Limits... First time I heard a few of the new MX songs not ripped from other festivals... Best way to experience the new album is a live performance! So this is all of my most favorite recent memories all smashed together in an awesome concert! I'm so excited right now! And Charlie Brown is my most favorite MX song!!!! I'm so happy I'm dancing in my studio apartment alone!
